Its unacceptable, no new PVP maps are killing the crucible slowly, and painfully. We should get like 2 or 3 brand new pvp maps and throughout the year, you bring back reprised d1 crucible maps if you can't make new ones. PvP sucks rn and it feels way too samey, especially when you rip out most of the maps for no reason. Please, fix this ASAP
We need some kind of map introduced urgently

73 답변Wow, look at the mouth-breathers in these comments. “iT’s A pVe GaMe.” Yeah, it’s a pve game ... with PvP, too. Taken King added 9 new PvP maps when it launched. Forsaken added either 4 or 5. Beyond Light added zero. Stop making excuses for Bungie’s laziness.

1 답변I barely touch pvp and I agree. Especially with Europa. A map in the Clovis facility or in Riis Reborn could have been kinda cool.

Removing a bunch of maps and not adding any new ones is just bad business. I understand some of the reasons (or alleged reasons) they did it, but the bottom line is if they are trying to drive players away, they are doing a pretty good job at it.

1 답변Feels like ages since they made a new PvP map. At this point they might as well release a forge mode. Make it where the most well made maps can be added into the main core playlists with another playlist for everyones created maps to mess around in with a voting system as well.

작성자: HOOSTKO 1/29/2021 6:27:18 AMI’m a PvE player but couldn’t agree with you more. It’s wild that they did that while removing so much. They really could have at least brought back some D1 maps at the very least. Weird and shocking decision.

작성자: DuBChiri2 1/30/2021 8:33:13 PMI'd pay for map packs if they actually made new ones. Their excuse of "it's free to play" doesn't stop people who legitimately want more. I like pvp and I like new maps and new weapons so I don't mind spending a little extra if bungie ACTUALLY put some effort into the damn mode. I get it, it used to be part of the cost of the dlcs and expansions and so settling for paying more is stupid, but they don't go that direction anymore and now we get nothing at all, probably because it's not "cost efficient" or some bull shit like that. So we gotta speak with the only thing they actually care about, money. Pvp can't live off of sandbox changes alone, it needs maps, game modes and gear, something they could probably sell for another 10-15$ as a bundle with the season or every other season. Old games used to do it and I didn't mind it, but this is starting to get old waiting around for nothing and seeing the population continue to crumble slowly. There's a reason people buy new call of duty games each year or so, there's a reason people dump money into battle royales, there's a reason people dump money into moba's. Pvp is popular, it makes money and it satisfies people in ways pve can't. Destiny has a really functional pvp unlike pretty much any other pve game and so them squandering it's potential that's found success for years is saddening. I don't care if less people play destiny for pvp. You can't get an experience like this with any other game and in some cases I find it better than strictly pvp games. Not because of shit like skill, but because it's genuinely fun to me. The movement, the guns, the abilities all of this stuff is something that meshes into a pvp environment in ways people try to tell you doesn't work. Well...it does work and has done so since 2014. It has had significant up's and downs, but it's captivated an audience in ways other games couldn't and is only held back by sluggish tuning and next to non-existent additions to the game mode.

I liked it when Bungie added a reskinned D1 map in with iron banner(Distant shore,Convergence) and people didn't know about it untill they spawned in on it.It was a nice surprise even though it was a reskin.I would like to see more new maps added to pvp and gambit.

I feel like crucible needs a new team or something. Give us more custom games options, or let the community Create maps! Not everyone can use the map builder well but some people can. Where is the halo spirit? Why take out maps? For memory space? Take out other things instead of stripping all available parts of pvp. I’m tired of playing on the same 5 maps all the time, and Europa gets ZERO maps? So much potential with braytech and the eliksni homes. The only reason I play pve is to get good roles to use in pvp. If pvp isn’t fun (which it usually already isn’t, especially with the presence of cheaters and trials having nothing to give) then I don’t play. Sincerely, a top 2 percent pvp player and longtime destiny fan. At this point, I’m fine with more ported D1 maps. Give us something fresh

작성자: Azoths_Gambit 1/29/2021 12:49:52 PMI have been saying we need a annual Crucible Centered Expansion in addition to the Big DlC drops that mostly focus on PvE. Just design it in a way where PvE players don't have to buy it but Crucible players can if they want it. Compare CoDs PvP to Crucible and you can see a superior in Game Store, better servers, they add enough new content regularly enough and in General their weapon design team does a wonderful job of earning them profit when they add alternative guns to their in game store front. It just comes down to: Would you rather grind for a gun, or buy a gun and I feel CoD and D2 could both learn from Warframe that allows players to do either yet balaces the game by making the mods so important that you cant just win with good weapons you still have to earn mods.

3 답변They don't make maps because you guys -blam!- about them so bad that they got rid of almost all d2 maps for the d1 maps

1 답변As pvp is f2p you shouldn’t expect even that. And before new maps you should want balance, a new map would suck if the sandbox sucks, a new map would feel good if the sandbox is good.
