The Harbinger. Great, awesome, random rolls for Hawkmoon. Sounds like it wouldn’t be too hard right?
Wrong.
Matched game is a natural (and unlisted) modifier. Enemies regenerate shields almost instantly. The constantly different shields means I have to stop, go hide and switch weapons. And the snipers...oh gods the snipers.
On top of this there are TWO Unstoppable Champions that are bugged. They WILL NOT flinch when I use the appropriate handcannon mod.
I died damn near 25 times in the last room before throwing in the towel. Seriously why do they make these quests? Sure I want to be challenged but this isn’t it.

1 답변Wasn’t too bad; finished it solo today. Went in blind so took a while to complete. Just have to take your time.

1 답변I definitely agree although the Champions weren't bugged for me. The issue lies within the fact that Bungie designed this mission to be played with a fireteam. And i don't care about hearing all those people who solo'd it on their own. This simply was a badly designed mission to keep you locked into the game if you badly want a specific roll of Hawkmoon.

1 답변This post shows why the game is dying. The activities difficulty is a matter of perspective and opinion and I bet a lot of people will tell you to git gud. Back in D1 and D2 early days, everyone just came along and did things together and helped each other on a better scale. Now you are at the mercy of trash lfg experience or something. Everyone has the right to enjoy the game the way they desire but team and community spirit, which was a big part of this franchise and its true strength, is gone.

To be honest, it feels strange. The snipers and wizards hit like a truck and the bosses fire is devastating (1280 with def. mods). The difficulty seems a bit random sometimes. But is it too difficult??? Not a bit. Just because there's a Solo-Triumph doesn't mean that it has to be easy. And compared to Zero hour or Whisper this is a walk in the park. No one want's it to be even easier, not even you. Trust me.

작성자: LikwiD_SmOkE22 1/23/2021 6:26:24 AMLol you cant be serious it isnt too difficult .. Whisper & outbreak perfected had a timer & enemies hit much harder The champions however don't seem to respond properly anywhere in the game except in the raid

3 답변I Solo’d without dying after multiple and I mean multiple attempts. You have to learn the rhythm of each encounter. I recommend anti barrier pulse for vandal snipers. Arc smg and sword combo for phalanx then switch to unstoppable hand cannon and xenophage for captains and unstoppables. Use environment for cover and be strategic. Xeno also kills vandals in one shot so that can make life easier in the second room. For the boss room after the jumping area I used gnawing hunger and a kinetic bow with xenophage. Use the platforms left or right of boss until immune then quickly get back to beginning area and methodical kill the shielded guys. Save one to farm for heavy bricks. But there are two shielded knights that xeno takes out in 3 shots as long as the hobgoblins don’t make them immune. Use bow to take out hobgoblins then xeno for knights after clearing the shielded guys. Use the semi safe spot at beginning to peak and shoot. It really becomes fairly easy with proper mods gear and strategy. It was frustrating the first several times I played it spent hours in 2nd room learning. Now I feel stupid for how quick and easy that room is. Went in blind and actually thought the two unstoppable room was final room died endlessly at first until using proper gear and mods and cover. Oh forgot to mention use the middle upper platform in that room with two unstoppables to peak and shoot makes it a lot easier. Just have some patience and learn from mistakes. It’s actually really fun. Don’t give up and good luck. One of the better activities at the moment. If one PlayStation or PC I would be happy to teach you this strategy.

It’s the last room. Definitely a little obnoxious. Unless I have a full fire team I can’t see any reason to wanna keep doing that solo. Maybe if after you beat it the first time you could jump right to the last room, but, it’s a little to irritating and time consuming IMO to keep doing it. I would rather Run the Menagerie for hours, Bc that was fun and rewarding. That last room to me, is a huge “patience check”.

4 답변My only issue are the snipers that continually respawn and and seem to have rapid fire and pinpoint aim even when your on the move. The sniper resistance mod does'nt help any that I can tell either. This is just my experiance running solo. Have'nt tried with a fireteam yet.

Are they bugged though or are you just not well versed in dealing with champions? If the ring on their backs is glowing your mod shot won't work. You gotta wait. It's like an immune phase of about 5 seconds ish. That goes for Overloads too. But they can be finnicky little dudes. Sidenote: If they've just spawned in or aren't roaming then your mod shot will also have no effect on them. Just some pointers to help you and others out.

5 답변I agree OP, Bungie are ramping up the difficulty in lots of activities as a poor excuse for lazy design. I noticed when I attempted a solo legendary lost sector. Killed by unavoidable hive knight splash damage again and again and again. In any other situation this would be survivable but no matter what I did with my armor or changing my tactics nothing worked. In the end I said F this, keep the reward I'd rather go watch tv. Why do two knights that look identical from different parts of the game output different damage when using the same weapon? What's the lore explanation on that? There's a challenge and then theres Bungie's version where solo players are hated on because they don't bring in extra friends to the franchise and are therefore expendable. The studio wanted to make Destiny 2 mostly a PvP game because it's easy money - make a map once and people just play it over and over, no story lines or voice actors needed. Lazy. If there's one thing that costs money it's making PvE missions and quests. What you're seeing is Bungie squeezing the literal life out of the existing assets they have by adding invinclible champions and difficulty modifiers to recycle content, and they figure on doing this for at least another year. Sadly, we've had the best of this game. I've decided not to spend anymore money on it. If Bungie won't spend spend time and money on the game why should we?

1 답변Idk if it’s too hard, over not listed correctly. I think it’s meant to be a fireteam activity that you can choose to solo. Completely understand your point, tho. When I did my first run I thought “The people at Bungie that are in charge of setting activity difficulty have seriously lost touch. How is this mission so hard and the raids are laughably easy??!!Like, it’s hard to whip in the raids because the enemies are so soft!!”

3 답변I just solo'd it and it was NOT fun. I went into it blind because I wanted to experience it myself and let me say that the survival room was...a surprise I wasn't happy about. The final boss i just cheesed with witherhoard and obliterated the knight closest to me with my super every time. Witherhoarded the acolytes far away as well as the taken knights.
