I met a new player and decided to help him out. This is some 3rd grader. We did the new light missions then I took him I to private matches because we were going to go into control for the new light quest from shaxx. I tried to see what I can do to improve his aim, teach him about awareness, what job each type of weapon has and how they are used, ect.
We then decided to go into control after 2 private matches. Out of all 3 matches, he got aggressively tbagged each one. And on the 3rd on, he got a message along the lines of "you cant even play the game. That's why in bagging. Just uninstall". What. The. F***. I don't have words to describe how pissed I was.
What the f*** is wrong with this community🤦♂️
This all around is just completely messed up. I feel bad for the kid. He was actually having fun with the game. I'm disappointed in this community. We have stooped so low to a point I didnt think we could get to. This is not how new players should be treated. In fact, this ain't how people in general should be treated. How is this acceptable?
Edit: Forgot to mention this because I just went to bed after writing this but I had already informed him about crucible not really being fun and it being toxic. When he did get bagged, he told me he was going to bag them back and I said not to. I told him to not stoop to their level. He then told me to go 1v1 them and I said no because I'm not going to that far and waste my time on some bozo with an ego. I never really do 1v1s in the first place because I find it a waste of time unless its with my buddy's for funsies and we do stupid stuff or I'm trying to help a new player like that kid.
I already had him block the one who messaged him and told him to ignore people like that because they may feel good about themselves. But in reality, they are making themselves look extreamly stupid and that they have the mental capacity of a zucchini. The kid didnt seem bothered much and was ignoring it which is good, but I can't stand by and let that s*** slide. Especially if I'm the one helping him. Because it's still messed up no matter how you look at it.
Edit 2: Some of you are missing the point. Yes, the kid is a 3rd grader. No, I'm not his parent. I didnt give him the ok to play a game at the age he isnt supposed to. And if I had a kid, I most likely wouldn't let them play the game at his age either in the first place, or at least without my supervision. But its 2020 and heading into 2021, people are -blam!-. I'm not angry at the fact that he is a kid experiencing this. I'm angry that new players in general are being treated in a similar manner. I've seen a good chunk of new players on the forums and in the game getting treated like garbage. That's why I'm writing about this.

24 답변Better question: Why is this community the only one full of people who are offended by teabagging and hate mail? Good lord, you people wouldn’t last a day in COD lobbies.

I raised a similar issue recently about my own experience of repeated teabagging during a strike, and I was more or less told by this forum that it was my own fault and that I deserved it. This forum, with notable exceptions, is sadly full of trolls and keyboard warriors. It sets a terrible example to new players.

It's not the community, it's a solect few I guess you can say. You have to consider this is a worldwide game and depending how you grow up, the group of friends people hang around with, etc makes a difference in how ones personality will be towards others. Unfortunately it's something no one will ever be able to control. It's been a thing since online gaming begin.

6 답변Not that I support anyone getting hate mail, except my friend who sends a random Bible quote as a reply, that’s just how the internet works 🤷🏼♂️. Yes it sucks but that’s how it is... yes it sucks even more than the kid is a 3rd grader but obviously the guy that sent the message didn’t know that. Just tell the kid to brush it off and to expect this... Now I have a question! We’re you or the kid able to fully finish the Crucible New Light quest? I ask because I started the New Light quests because why not? 😆. It’s telling me to get Valor Points but whenever I do it never counts. I’m assuming it’s a glitch due to me having this quest steps for multiple weeks. Not a big deal but I’d like to know if this is a me issue or an everyone issue.

I think it’s just age honestly. I’ve been helping five or so of my friends, and getting another back into the game, and they’ve been good at combatting it since they’ve been facing it since the halo days. But I think in your situation it’s just the age and toleration factor really.

1 답변작성자: Jedi1Mind1Trick 12/31/2020 6:27:20 PM8 year olds should NOT be communicating with Adults. Period. Its an uncontrolled environment. Its how kids across the usa and world get kidnapped now. Just saw it again in the news last night. Parents either need to totally shut down communication or if not possible then keep them from playing certain games. The kid is 8 for christ sake. He should not be connected to any sort of online abuse. And ALL ONLINE COMMUNICATION is dangerous for an 8 year old. Its bad parenting.

2 답변작성자: SquidGuy 12/31/2020 3:28:29 PMThis does suck, but it's another reason why kids that young shouldn't be playing online games. Probably shouldn't be playing a shooter at that young of an age either.

작성자: Entity 12/31/2020 7:00:10 PMFunnest times I had were in Search lobbies in Mw2 as a 9 year old, no matter the shit talk. Lmao he's fine, if I was fine in MW2 Search and Destroy pregame lobbies, hell be fine getting hatemail and teabagged its just how it is when playing young, I promise you he'll end up being better then most the people who comments under this post anyways, and carry on the torch of toxicity. Stop complaining over something so dumb lol its bad enough there's censorship on Xbox and Playstation, this attention that your bringing towards the subject is pointless cause its been accepted since 07, and shit talking is part of gaming and is in every shooter And really, Don't teabag back? What kinda of wussy advice is that 😂 it ain't that serious

2 답변Why do people cry so much about a t-bag? Maybe if your/whoever’s feelings get hurt by a game you/they should go play minecraft or roblox

2 답변No offense but that’s why I don’t let my kid play with a mic. I don’t want some adult talking to my young child, I just don’t trust people

17 답변Jesus you are such a snowflake, it’s literally an avatar in game spamming crouch, it’s not offensive. You are teaching a bad message by not letting him bag back, it’s just a bit of fun. Don’t get emotional over it.

3 답변Every community has toxicity. Just keep grinding n get better. Can’t be a snowflake it’s virtual. Pretty sure no one has the power to go through your tv/monitor and hurt you just yet.Block msgs or report or w.e.

Pvp can be toxic but I’ve been tbagged by the guy on the bottom of list which makes me laugh. Tell new player - don’t let that bother him even veteran players see this toxic behavior all the time. I continue playing because the love I have for Destiny 2. Good luck to all new player’s and have fun 😎
