Enough is Enough!
I'm a 42 yr. old, experienced gamer. My first game system was Atari 2600, then Nintendo, and I've owned every PlayStation that has came out. I have been playing Destiny for over 6 yrs.
This has been bothering me for a while now. You guys are good at bullshitting your fans, but the real gamers can see through it. Sunsetting is just a way to get rid of the viable weapons and perks and replace them with less potent versions. Rampage is even starting to disappear and bad perk combos, just for starters.
99% of all the armor we get is shit and being sunset anyway. Why are you so afraid to actually put good stats on armor?
The whole seasonal artifact/mod system, coupled with champions, is literally designed to control exactly what we play with. Instead of actually making genuine content, you guys try to make the game artificially hard.
This is all designed to control what we play with, how we play, and it extends player time. Money is the main motivator. If Destiny is ever to reach its full potential, we need more freedom of choice. Not less. We need weapons and armor that are so special to us again, that we end up tuning builds for years. The variety will inherently be there for the people that like to consistently switch builds.
I have already quit for 6 months and I'm about to quit again. There are a ton of new, good games coming out and you guys are going to fall to the wayside. I hate to see that happen. Open up the game. Trying to control the meta and making the game artificially hard is never going to work long-term.

Sunset was good. Everyone before use mountaintop, icelos and sword now we now that we have tu use new weapon but your right there still the problem that is the champion that force us to use a type of weapon or the fact that only icelos and seraphique weapons can make warmind cell and it's suck

1 답변16 yr old gamer here , irrelevant opinion I like Destiny i think it is sooper cool Lmao out of all honesty the idea of sunsetting was a little rampant and does kill alot freedom with the game and pretty much eliminated the reason to play certain activities in general . [i]But it’s understandable. [/i] Within the time frame of Forsaken and end of Shadowkeep so much was added and tweaked and stuff pretty much making the game at its prime with so much you can do. Bungies simply taking an initiative to do something no other -blam!- game companies can do. Im gonna assume its gonna be alot of the same thing with alot new modes and content lots of people will think is either whack or game changing. Things change yall; games gotta die out eventually. Bungie can change their game but not the player base. Tbh crazy to see so many adults out here and would like to say as someone who was grown up alot on destiny since beta yall are freakin awesome . Moving on with and from a community like this is a struggle and it isnt something most can do. So just a little respect off of that. To close off I do think Destiny is going in a little of a wavy and rough path and have done alot of questionable things that lose my interest but Im sure if you give it more time itll get better . :)

10 답변I stopped playing the game months ago, came back because my sister bought the DLC and left as soon as I was done playing with my skyrim lich subclass on d2. Tbh I'm glad I left, Cyberpunk and Halo look way more interesting than this dead horse.

I mean since their new board members are a mobile game company what can you expect from Bungie? not much and they have shown it this last entire year. This isn't even Bungie anymore because all the people that made what this compnay use to be about bailed. So if I were you I would spend your money on other games because things are going to get a hell of a lot worse with this game and company.

4 답변What's the point of any armor stat or weapon roll, when you take it into pvp. It don't matter, you are frozen 90% of the time now. Most of the battles you used to win, you lose cause you are frozen. The battles you'd turn and burn from, no longer can cause you are frozen. Old supers were always pretty terrible. But now a grenade gives you instant death, cause your frozen! Bungie has always sucked at balancing the game. But this update to the game (which I won't purchase cause -blam!- this company) has to top the cake on terrible decision making. From the way they make us play their shitty game to how we can compete in their shitty game. It blows my mind I am still kind of, sort of interested in this pile of wasted life. Only cause I done just that, wasted thousands of hours into the game. For what? For a game company to take more from me and coat it with a shiny coat of paint? Guess non of that matters, cause now I'm FROZEN!!

Sunsetting ruined it for me. No reason chasing gear or waisting time upgrading anything just to have it be useless. Less choice in picking gear to use because we're forced to use crappy weapons and ugly azz armor. Except raid gear that's pretty cool but future will be useless .

I never ever seen a game so restrictive. You just CAN'T play this game the way you want. EVERYTHING is gated behind some gimmick, making everything really grindy and frustrating. I'm gonna finish this season but if they don't change their mind about sunsetting, I'm gone for good. I don't need a second job as a hamster spinning in his wheel.

1 답변Anthem, division, warframe, they all failed to make me give up destiny, then came sunsetting and as soon as I saw that power limit on my 400+ god roll weapons I spend months grinding for and I was out next day. Never bought season of arrivals or anything after, haven't logged ever since and migrated to warframe. Still prefer destiny gun-play to warframe quick movement play, but on warframe all my gear is eternal and relevant in any activity. I feel mostly disapointed that Bungie decided to toss all my effort into the garbage and give so little value to collector players in a looter game. Now outriders is coming and I decided to give it a go. But I am certain that had sunsetting never happened, I'd still be a regular destiny player. I genuinely found playing destiny fun and rewarding, but I lost all joy to invest a single second more chasing loot when it comes with expiration date.

2 답변Well said dude. I feel exactly the same way. I have lost all respect for Bungle. They are greedy and only care about money and doing as little as possible. Easiest way to make a big planet is cover it with snow. We didn't get reskinned Cosmodrone as an extra already paid for content - we got it as a replacement for new content. Shame on you Bungle. They suck at crucible and look how broke the game is from start. Trials lost three weeks. Bungie you don't deserve us. They got rid of bounties to replace that with "longer versions of bounties" called quests. A great deal of this content is reskinned, reused, duplicated and stolen from other games without improvement. Bungie you lack creativity.

Word! This entire game model is flawed. Each new DLC/Season that comes out, the game wants you to grind the same old shite over and over again. Here's Beyond Light, so go grind Gambit and PvP. At the very least they could have dressed up these tired old modes a bit with some new freaking maps!!!!

2 답변I dont like the seasonal mod thing either and I get Bungie trying to force new metas but there are other ways to do that. The fact that Scout Rifles and SMG's are part of the mod meta when there are barely any new ones introduced is just idiotic. One new scout Rifle if you dont Raid for the DSC one and one new SMG. This system has to go. There should always be mods available for ALL weapons because they are essential to Endgame content.

2 답변Agreed. 100% It’s such a shame, but you need to accept the fact that bungie has chosen the most profitable business model over the best quality product that could’ve been. It’s not gonna change this year now, come back next September and see what direction they take then.

I can understand sunsetting weapons but doing it to armor as well? Like I created a build and it's pretty much impossible to re make that build using the new armor I've gotten so far. Nothing even compares to it. So I really hope that changes because I can't keep cycling through all this armor every year.
