Changes would have been fine fine, nerfing every part of a new kit and leaving the other classes untouched is not good balance.

2 답변You know what's the most interesting thing about all this. Two days ago everyone was saying how they hate stasis and its not fun and it screws the game up, freezing doesn't belong in Destiny. Now everyone is like GIMMAY MO A DAT STASIS!

And it’s already been nerfed, which is ok, but proves to be bungie’s usual failure to test, or rather reflects a marketing approach to bait players and then slap them in the face. The contest mode of the raid being capped 20 levels under tells me it’s going to be a piece of cake at 1261, and every player is going to be over 1251 by next week. So then what? A new tier of useless hunts? 10 weeks of +1 pinnacle? Two upcoming weapons spread over 9 weeks? Sounds like a very boring future.

Two things that bothered me about this nerf: 1) How fast it was done. If a dev really wants to balance and make the game fun, they could take perhaps a little more time to test and perhaps even buff the other classes in order balance it as well. it insinuates to me that they made this decision in about less than a week since the game came out... I find this not very carefully thought out at all. 2) Again with crossing pve and pvp. they did a much better job, but I still strongly feel these two modes need to have their own ecosystem.

I already hated the super, as it was already useless if you don't perfectly aim to freeze the enemy before using the melee that is useless otherways, and even the damage output of the melee in PvE is complete garbage even if you freeze targets like yellow bars. But now with these changes, I can bearly even use the best (only truly useful) part of the subclass, the melee. sure I like the dusk field grenade but I liked it more in combination with the melee that is now completely useless. if you wanted to nerf the melee then the only change you had to make was the travel speed, not the distance, in PvE, it was already just too short sometimes.

4 답변The super nerf I get. The light has a splash freeze effect and the heavy insta-kills frozen targets AND it has absurd range that goes through walls. The melee? Like, why? You thaw out before you can even break out. There's no chase option either, it'll just be used to stop screaming apes, which can be done by Glacier already. Coldsnap was needing a nerf. It tracks around cover, insta-freezes, and chains. Duskfield might pull enemies away from cover, but at least they can fight back for a few seconds and hope to get the kill before they get killed in return. If you get Coldsnapped, it's a death sentence. Maybe you can jump to avoid it, but that puts you at risk of being duck hunted. Personally I'd like to see the melee get buffed to 20 meters with a 2 second freeze duration OR have it's speed increased by 20% again, so Warlocks have a chase option. That's the only thing that's really needing a change right now. Once we get the other Aspects and can further enhance the class, we'll know more about what should and shouldn't be nerfed/buffed.

1 답변Warlocks need a major break when it comes to their new supers. Nova warp still needs a buff in boss and in crucible battles, which is mediocre. Their new stasis shade binder needs to be buff back up to a reasonable playing level. The stasis melee needs to be a little faster to counter the competition to freeze them and to shatter them. You destroy the stasis melee you destroy the new super shade binder as a whole. This just brings back horrifying memories of the brand new nova warp that was nerfed to the ground. [b][/b] Us warlocks just keep getting s*** on by haters who are not warlocks. PVP should not just revolve around Hunters and Titans. Come on Bungie, if you have to nerf warlocks make it fair. Right now, this melee nerf of the shade binder is ridiculous. Without the melee speed, the whole super is worthless.

1 답변Yeah the melee feels very bad. No idea why it’s range got hit so hard, especially for a non tracking ranged melee, when you have the Uber-ridiculous tracking and range on top tree Dawn. That was for sure a ridiculous overswing. Super seems fine to me. I’m still on the fence on some of the other changes, but that melee nerf both on paper and in testing was such a ridiculous overcorrection.

1 답변작성자: SinistradBane 11/20/2020 4:11:48 AMI thought all the nerfs were far to extreme and over the top and I main a hunter. Same with all the other freeze nerfs in PvP. What’s the point of giving people stasis to use them making it almost useless. Should have slowly backed it down a little at a time over a few weeks to find a sweet spot. As it is, Bungie went to extremes again instantly. Decreasing freeze times by 25% to start would have been a lot better than like 67%! Should have reduced it from 4.75 secs to 3.5 to see how it went and done the damage adjustment on top. Going from 4.75 to 1.75 is extreme and if they increase it from 1.75 to 2.5 or 2.75 there will be more anger than if they went to 3.5 then 2.5. Just never understood why Bungie goes overboard instantly while many other developers go smaller weekly incremental adjustments till they’ve tuned it right in. Bungie seems to just crank the dial from side to side 🤦🏼♂️

13 답변They seriously need to learn what fine tuning is. The nerfs kinda ruined it for PvE, especially the melee. Welp, back to top tree Voidwalker. We just can't have nice things in this game because of PvP.

1 답변I’m really sick of this...any time a class starts to go toe to toe with Titans in crucible they get nerfed to oblivion and it completely ruins them in PVE. I stopped playing after the nerf and I don’t know if I’m going back, why continue to pay for things when they’re just going to ruin them a week later?
