Changes would have been fine fine, nerfing every part of a new kit and leaving the other classes untouched is not good balance.

1 답변Weren’t you guys all angry about how good it was? How “unplayable” pvp was because of how good the class was? They needed it like everyone asked and now people cry about it. Guess you can’t make everyone happy

1 답변Wtf? Remove this bullshit asap! It's unplayable right now! What are u even doing bungie? Do you even play the game yourself? Half of the round I'm stuck and can't move because of this stupid ass ability. What a nonsense. Balance this f...... game

Especially when the hunter stasis is actually so much more op. Mask of Bakris for instance, coupled with 100 mobility, focusing strike, outreach, taking charge and high energy fire, and last but not least berserker allows for so much damage boost it’s insanely good. Can’t wait for Bungie to take away the last fun parts of this dlc.

1 답변Completely agree. Melee feels impractical to use now. Why can’t warlocks ever have anything nice?
-
20 답변I mean you guys got every aspect of your super nerfed and it's still 10x better than hunter. Stop crying. It's still the best class in the game, next to maybe top tree dawn, which is a contender, both Warlock I might add.

1 답변What are I talking about dude? It is way more op then either of the other two subclasses, being able to freeze someone all t way across the map and kill them was horse shit! The titan super requires picking your battles and the hunter, well it’s a no aim blade barrage piece of shit, u know, because a hunter gotta have his crutches! But yeah, dude I agree the warlock supers are underwhelming but having one completely over the top was a bit much!

1 답변작성자: ZayOsiris Gaming 11/21/2020 7:05:35 AMPersonally I’m alright with the changes, BUT I do have a suggestion. Stasis | Melee | Penumbral Blast • Holding the melee for 1.0s will channel it for 1.3s, Releasing the melee (while channeling) will Increase its tracking capabilities and range from 17 Meters to 28, & Increase the freeze duration on impact. • Tapping the melee will fire a traditional orb, that slows combatants on impact. The orb travels slower & reaches a max of 17 meters.

11 답변i dont get why warlocks freeze features was cut from 4 to 1 second ish, yet titans and hunters can still freeze people for 4 seconds? that makes no sense at all!! but seeing as this is bungie and how crap they are, should have known! i'm a titan, not a warlock, but it seems suss and unfair to me!

It’s almost like the warlock class was completely unbalanced and they brought it closer to balance? The warlock super is still far and away the best of the 3. You guys had a melee nerf and your melee can still insta freeze. What’s the issue
-
1 답변
Changes would have been fine fine, nerfing every part of a new kit and leaving the other classes untouched is not good balance.
Okay, let me tell you that shadebinder is still one of the stronger subclasses in the game. Penumbral blast was downgraded from mid-range to slightly-longer-than-shotgun range. It’s AoE still makes it one of the more dangerous melees to get hit by thanks to the ability to incapacitate a player for 1.35 seconds, which in a team fight can end up being an advantage. Iceflare bolts only makes that even more of a hazard depending on how competent teammates are at prioritizing, and if they have that aspect on as well. While not as absurd, Winter’s wrath is a super to be cautious of. Getting frozen is a near-guaranteed death sentence when the evil dubstep drops the bass. Coldsnap grenades are an all-class nerf. Nothing surprising there regarding it being the homing grenade. So even with the nerfs, the subclass is still dangerous in the right hands.

2 답변Man this is garbage I just based my whole pve build around the melee cause it was the one good thing about the new subclass imo the super was good but you had to pick and choose where to fire it wasn't that great of a super honestly you get more kills on a tintan or hunter easy but no just don't dail back the damage to bosses or target pvp just blam the whole class into the dirt thank you

6 답변The only bad nerf in my opinion was the nerf to the melee's range. It has a sweet spot of activation and can't be activated in close quarters. This nerf makes it a lot harder to manage that sweet spot and still likely hit someone. Not to mention it makes the melee feel incredibly clunky to use in pve. Personally I think the freeze should be two seconds instead of 1.35. But my main complaint is the melee range/speed nerfs.
-
I agree that the Warlock melee was a little op, but it was nerfed a little too much. Slowing the speed down by 20% was good, give players a chance to dodge, but cutting the range from 28m to 16m was too much especially since the freeze does not activate until 6 meters. You now have a melee that only has a 10 meter range where it can work. It felt great, but I agree it was op, but now it feels like I almost have no melee at all. I would like to see some of the range given back and maybe have it activate from less than 6 meters. I know that there is some trial and error to the changes they are making, but with all of the other changes, I really feel like I lost the melee. Another 2 suggestions, 1st maybe give us back some range and slow it down a little more, possibly 25%. 2nd, please give us the range back in PvE. So nice to get a new super, but I feel like a lot of the things that made it fun have been removed and for the first time since Stasis has went live I am know thinking of going back to an old sub class for PvE.

1 답변Lmao you gonna be mad but there's still nonsense that needs to be adjusted. Still dying through walls from the shockwave. That needs to be handled.

6 답변작성자: Abyssoque 11/21/2020 7:11:21 AMWholeheartedly agree there, I play all 3 character classes so I don't main anyone so I say this the melee range you adjusted you slightly overdid it. The range went from 28m to 16m The shotgun is 10m Chaperone can crack between 12m and 14m Slugs can also crack at that range I believe Bungie the better option would have been between 23 and 19 Also, the speed of it should be fast enough to hit the target but also to be able to be avoided if said player is paying attention when it is shot at them. The point of a warlock is long-range that's the way the character is built Titan is built for close-range and even mid-range for some of its attacks and abilities Hunter is built for all-rounder close and long-range as well as a bit of mid-range Each class should have its pros and cons but none should be made obsolete Each class should have an advantage over one another but to where the advantage isn't labeled or consider op nor broken just enough for it to feel balanced. Devs if you guys can't balance confidently then why not try to ask community members or have sign up like the insider program across all platforms to volunteer to test these things before you send them in-game or possibly. Why not take a note of the way the devs that work on MCC do it with something similar to the insider program but with destiny perhaps. They do the MCC flights in which it lets things be tested by the community before there initialized into the actual game. A group of selected members tests certain things the devs are thinking about putting in-game and or changing and the select members play and relay the necessary feedback needed to further the experience. Just a suggestion In a game like this balance is definitely needed when it comes to these classes otherwise it's just a handicap.

I was just looking to give my feedback on the very same thing. I absolutely love the new stasis abilities and was having a blast with them in pve and especially pvp and the warlock was my favorite. I realized it was over top and expected some kind of nerf, but was immensely disappointed to see not only the warlock get a significant nerf, but the entire subclass. This actually make stasis far less interesting and defeated the entire purpose of stasis abilities, and because locks got a double nerf (the subclass as a whole and the warlocks in particular) I find the entire experience very unsatisfying now. I am not sure why bungie decided to go with mega nerf rather then incremental, as it is the lock stasis abilities no hold anything in place long enough to be effective, and since stasis does almost no damage, I find the whole thing useless on a lock. I also found the 50% reduction in range of the melee was extra disappointing , maybe if it tracked like the titan charge or hunters melee it would be better. Finally, why did you only nerf the warlock, I get punched off of every map by a titan and have no doge or ability to save myself, and the hunter super wipes out entire teams in control. We did a match against 6 stasis hunters and it was a slaughter. This is what I want to see come back, first ,the stasis needs to be closer to 3sec, second, without tracking it makes no sense to nerf the lock melee to 16m, move it back to 28 or give it tracking, third, nerf the titan punch so it cant launch player more than a couple of meters, where as right now it can send us 20 or more, lastly the hunter supper is OP and there is no way to escape it, we need some kind of survivability.

1 답변"Warlocks" really needed the Nerf since beyond light release. They were way to fast on stasis super an the freeze time lasted way to long with no way to break away. Next "Hunters" needs a nerf in their stasis ability, their duration last too long. "Titans" - Stasis super needs a nerfs too, stasis "over-shield".

2 답변I haven’t played the new expansion yet. So take my response with a grain of sand. If the the new warlock subclass was overturned then that’s on bungie. Why does it seem that it takes the community to essentially beta these things. If they can’t be bothered to test their own game it would be better if they just released as limp noodle versions of themselves and tune things up rather than down. The fact they couldn’t foresee this super being op shows they do t play their own game or do t play it at the level of those that find the optimal way to use things. All in all, pretty sad for a dev to not now how their players will use things after 6 years.

1 답변Warlock main here: I MIGHT DO THE ENTIRE BEYOND LIGHT CAMPAIGN AGAIN ON TITAN BECAUSE THIS NERF WAS SO DANG HEAVY OH I KNOW LETS GIVE ICEFLARE BOLTS 1 SECOND FREEZE TIME
