It hit me first day, I just want to grab a kinetic shotgun that was masterworked, or grab 21 delirium for machine gun kills or whatever element weapon for certain kills on Europa or wherever. They've really shafter this game for those who have built up their arsenal in the last couple of years.

That's basically why they did it. Players like us that have been around for years have a vast collection which makes it hard for Bungie to make us grind again. So they restrict our old items so that we have to re-grind for the same thing, or in this case re-grind for worse items.

You know, warframe has this kind of situation where players have vast collection where we can one shot raid bosses in destiny if they're ever brought in to warframe and how DE make people chase new weapons? By introducing new weapons with unique features like recent update where we get LMG with grenade launcher powered from killing enemies, giving an identity If bungie want people to chase new gears, make them somewhat interesting with an identity, not sunsetting and make us grind the same gears again and I made two threads about it Foundry rework https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/257173225?page=0&sort=0&showBanned=0&path=1 Tex Mechanica rework https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/257265678?page=0&sort=0&showBanned=0&path=1 Is it that hard to give them some identity?

Whoa whoa WHOA there. Hold up you need to calm down wit these ideas. You don't actually expect Bungie to have to put in some kind of effort to make new unique items, do you??? Ain't nobody got time for that. In case it wasn't obvious, that was 100% sarcasm. We all know what they should do, but they can't be bothered to put in that kind of work into expansions. Especially when they know they can just re-introduce old items they previously took away. They learned this long ago when they kept spoonfeeding D1 exotics to us as new content. Now that they're running out of D1 items, they had to figure out a way to spoon feed us old D2 items.

What itch though? The hamster wheel grinding? Considering the loot in that game has significant difference from each foundry where I don't see any difference from hakke, suros, omolon or tex and no material farming nonsense only to see your worked gears thrown into oblivion from sunsetting

A lot of it is the base gameplay. Character abilities, platformer puzzles, space magic, etc. The gunplay and enemies are significantly different from any other FPS I've played. Also I'm not a fan of the graphic design of borderlands. I've put in quite some time into Borderlands 2, and the presequel, but I never did finish either of the stories. The lack of automatic online interaction or pvp game modes just made me lose interest. I also didn't enjoy the grinding in borderlands either, so in borderlands 2 I glitched the hell out of gold keys for better weapons.

Totally believable, face facts your brand new here, you've got none of the weapons that are worth a damn in your collections so you're just happy everyone was brought down to your lazy level, you have the easiest title to obtain in the game tossed on as if that's impressive and practically zero experience in endgame, dont pretend you're some vet, you're so fresh the ghost still smells of the cosmodrome Have fun grinding for 23 guns that you'll be grinding for again a year later for hahaha, sad
