What does this mean? Are the Cabal siding with us now. Seeing as though the Leviathan is gone in Beyond light. What will the Vanguard do the Red Legion after the.darkness is dealt with?
This brings so many questions. I made a comment about "Will the Fallen side with Humanity". Apparently we have the rest of the Cabal. Maybe some Cabal will become Guardians after all.

Back during D1, there were a lot of threads about the ideas of working with the enemies as a splinter faction. D2 has kinda been showing that idea in progress. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/183715466?sort=0&page=0 Is one such example from back in the day. Feel free to make posts in lore regarding people chiming in and seeing what they like. Feedback is also ok.

Just wanna point out, Osiris is there too. That seems to be overlooked, and he carries a lot of weight in the battle against the Darkness. Plus he’s most likely the one who arranged the meeting. I strongly believe there won’t be Cabal Guardians. Humanity was blessed with the Light, no other species, being allies isn’t enough. Anyway, I assume some Cabal leader decided they should team up with humanity to combat the Pyramids. The setting was very clearly within some Red Legion/Cabal Empire base or ship. Calus’s Loyalists would have been an interesting option, but the tech was straight out of Red Legion designs and was drastically different from Leviathan tech. There’s a possibility that a new leader arose from the remnants of the Red Legion or Caiatl for some reason changed her mind and decided to get the Empire involved with us. I see this as a strong possibility since the Empire has been at war with Oryx’s Sisters, and the season’s focus on Xivu Arath could certainly draw the Empire’s attention. Also, considering that the brief snippet we saw was before the seasonal reveal -at a point in the video where Bungie was showcasing clips from Shadowkeep, Arrivals and Beyond Light- it is very safe to assume that Zavala’s meeting with the Cabal will either be a part of the Beyond Light campaign (not the Season of the Hunt) or perhaps the pre-Beyond Light event that Bungie has teased.

So we must work together and after the Darkness is dealt with... I say dealt with because we cant kill or destroy the Darkness because it is a fundamental force... we will go back to beating each other up. Thats my prediction. I am by no means a HUGE lore guy so my prediction could already be debunked 😆
