Old Tower to Return and Traveler Healed..?
On Twitter, it’s been revealed from the PlayStation Store’s website a picture of Destiny 2 with 3 guardians facing the original tower looking in good shape and the Traveler healed. What does this mean...?
Many say that the end of season event can be the Traveler healing live in game and once Beyond Light launches, the original tower is fixed. Who knows. Bungie is obviously taking away Zero Hour where we go and fight on the ruins of the tower against fallen for Outbreak Perfected. So, what if they’re taking the mission away just because the old tower is coming back...?
It’s just speculation and I really do hope to see the old tower to return and the traveler to heal at some point. We need to see some changes done to the city as well for this evolving world.

We need to see some changes done to the city as well for this evolving world.[/quote] That's an art image of Destiny 1 Old tower is getting taken away (zero hour mission too) because it's tied to red war campaign, we aren't getting back the tower.

2 답변Well we know the old Tower was under repairs during the Zero Hour mission, I guess after we cleared the fallen out they could carry on the repairs. Definitely would be weird going back with no Cayde and no Speaker

2 답변i personally hope we do get to go back to the old tower, i prefer it way more than the current one. also on a personal note, i still wish we could go into the last city and walk around like we hear so many other guardians doing.

Edit: Also since the pyramids have arrived it would make sense to be at full strength that could include rebuilding the tower

I don't know about us getting our old tower back but Forbes has confirmed and I go to him for info that the traveler will be "repaired" for beyond light. Forbes thinks the traveler could heal itself over time like the almighty incident. Link is below. 2 답변I hate our Tower I much prefer the original Tower from D1. Our tower now you have to travel kinda far to get a quick bounty that take a second to get. The vendors are spread out to far from each other.

7 답변Makes sense since they are taking away the red war campaign, but are veteran players supposed to forget everything that has happened in 3 years Are we not the hero of the red war anymore ?

I mean to some degree the current tower seems fairly inefficient. I only recently started playing the game again after stopping shortly after D2 launch, but it's such a long jog between the Drifter and everything else, and the other side of the tower is fairly empty without faction vendors and Cayde. I don't know how attached people are to the current tower, but it feels like there'd be an opportunity to consolidate things a bit and open more room for new vendors without necessarily throwing them to the far flung corners (it took me a while to even find the Black Armory vendor, and I'm not sure if I've found all the other vendors currently in the tower).

It makes sense to make it feel like the tower is improving or being restored in some way, if they coule transform the new tower with slight changes to make it feel fresh and nostalgic then im all up for it. The courtyard above the vanguard boardroom was my favourite location, even when it was locked off players still wanted to sneak in there.

4 답변I would like to see the old tower back but with changes don’t want to go down the same old hall, give it a make over thats all an area where rasputin could be set up would be interesting, either way for me its best to keep my expectations a little down and seeing it is hinting at it there who know what will happen heck it could be a season event like with us donating fractaline to rebuild the lighthouse.

23 답변1. The traveler isn't healed. You can still see damage on its lower half. 2. That is definitely a d2 ship... Its the one hawthorn gives you. 3. The tower has been under repair as is evident by the sparks and machinery you can see there. Plus zero hour shows some damage from the red war has been repaired.
