Witherhoard Catalyst Quest
I just got back into Destiny 2 to get ready for the Beyond light expansion. I just got the Witherhoard catalyst quest and it's not looking like I am not going to be able to complete it before he end of the season. I am hearing that it is going away when the season is over, is this true? If so will there be another way to get it?

You can easily get it. There's a mission on IO called the whisper which has a area filled with shadow thralls that spawn endlessly, there are videos that can show you where to go. Just take a grenade launcher and go crazy.
