Hi, guys!
I believe that DESTINY 3 would be a better solution: I love the destinations that will come out and I always like to revisit the game's campaigns. How will BUNGIE solve this problem, since the campaign planets will be EXCLUDED from the game?
I paid for it!!!
Is there an option for the content to be kept? It would be a way to solve the problem, in case I don't want the new content.
Regards!
* Be polite and kind to each other... and thanks for the great game! One day I will visit them! :-)

1 답변작성자: Seraph 10/15/2020 10:29:33 PM
I believe DESTINY 3 would be a better solution.
I’ve been saying this for a while. Not only does it negate most of the negativity surrounding Bungie’s ‘Sunsetting’ agenda. But I still believe deep in my heart and soul that there is too much wrong with a Destiny 2 at its core, and that a fresh start would have been preferable to building on Destiny 2’s broken foundation. Destiny 2’s economy system sucks. Destiny 2’s shader system sucks. The progression system still sucks. Collections are useless and need re-vamping. Vendors need a re-vamp. And I miss Destiny 1’s skill trees. I hate Destiny 2’s skill trees.

They are underplayed. That’s the basis of it. If I’m being honest, I am elated that they are bringing back good things from d1 that we payed for. It is a mildly flawed system to say the least, but it’s what they’ve decided to do.

1 답변Sorry but ur wrong. U do not own any rights to the destiny franchise and u aren't part of the bungie team. It's their product and they can do whatever they want to it. Plain and simple.

“Bungie, Inc. makes no guarantee regarding the availability of online play or features and may modify or discontinue online services with reasonable notice at any time. Using the software constitutes acceptance of the destiny software licence agreement” you paid for a licence to access the game. They’ve given 5 months notice of their intentions. Sunsetting is happening regardless of how many posts people create about their disagreement of it. If they were going to get rid of sunsetting it would of happened by now.

211 답변https://www.bungie.net/7/en/Legal/SLA Please read. Especially the part where it say that you are buying a license that allows you to play the game. That you are not buying any ownership rights to the game/program. If you are playing the game then you agreed to the contract, and you have no standing to protest what Bungie is doing. Especially since Bungie is shelving content that basically no one plays any more. That has been give away for free for the past year....so that they can add new content and new features.
-
2 답변no you didn't pay for them. you paid for use of the product which can be changed. did you not play them? if so you got the usage you paid for, if not, you should have.
-
2 답변As people have already said. You didn't purcashe the game, you purchased a license to play.
-
You paid to access the content and Bungie has every right to remove it for whatever reason. D3 isn't happening or at least not anytime soon. The original vision was for Destiny to be one game with a changing world.
-
1 답변You paid for entertainment and the license to play content. You never owned anything in this game. Read the terms of service

2 답변Destiny 3: Comes out and you lose everything but you can keep playing irrelevant locations that nearly nobody seriously enjoys playing on or has a strong opinion about in D2. Which... y’know... you probably won’t if Destiny 3 is worth anything. Destiny 2, with sunsetting and vaulting: Keep all your gear and trophies from weapons, armor, shaders, emblems, triumphs etc. but lose irrelevant destinations that nearly nobody seriously enjoys playing on or has a strong opinion about. Yeah, I’ll take sunsetting and vaulting please.

Unfortunately the i paid for it argument ends with the tos. Pretty much every game I've played that has one of these has an article in it stating your paying for access to content and said content is subject to change. Does it make it right to remove shit? In my opinion, no. But they are legally covered. Can you do anything about it? Yup. Don't buy their shit. If enough people thought like this it would have a big enough financial impact on em to make them change their thinking. But 6 years on this forum has taught me that they apparently have enough people who agree with their every decision to keep them in business.

5 답변I paid just has much has you, but I myself don’t want a D3, I am glad they are slowly merging parts of D1 into D2 so eventually it will be one game Of course a game that size would have to leave old gen consoles behind

6 답변I agree. Destiny 3 would have been a better choice. With content vaulting, most of D2 content is going away, so you won't be able to claim titles or badges from old content, just like if it were a new game. With sunsetting, most of your old gear will be unusable, just like if you started over in a new game. Beyond Light is less like a major new expansion of D2, and more like the minimum viable product version of D3.

Why put effort into making tons of new stuff in a $60 package when you can just make a tiny amount of new content and recylce alot for $40 and charge $20 3 times a year? Bungie prioritizes profit over player enjoyment.

19 답변While I understand your position, the combination of the DCV and Sunsetting is really the best path forward for the game. It is an alternative to D3 allowing us to keep the core functionality of the game which allows Bungie to focus on content instead of creating a new core game. That was one of the biggest downfalls of Destiny 2 at launch, it took a year to build up the core game. One thing that is worth noting about this, even though content is getting vaulted. Beyond Light will contain more content than Destiny 2 after a full year and even more content than Destiny 1 after 3 years. This is huge in the grand scheme of things. Without trying to get hyped, I believe Beyond Light is shaping up to be the biggest DLC in Destiny history because time is being spent on new content rather than developing an entire new game. If I'm wrong, I will be rightfully critical. The thing that excites me the most about the DCV is the ability to not only put content into the vault, but also take it out of the Vault. This is huge for the future of Destiny. Maybe this is wishful thinking on my part, but I'm envisioning a Destiny universe that ultimately ends with the re-release of all locations from both games. Even though this would result in a truly massive game, since new content would not be added at that point, it should be feasible to establish the sandbox for the entirety of the game, then only make minor tweaks over time.

They’re not making a 3. It seems like they’re consolidating 2 and I believe eventually they were merge the game completely into Destiny. I have issues with several things they do but vaulting isn’t one for me personally. I’ve paid for all content but I understand that not everyone feels the same way.

7 답변It will be back. Bungie is the king of recycled content... But the real funny part is that when we revisit, they will obviously charge you again per a season or dlc.

1 답변작성자: VisualCrew 10/15/2020 4:50:41 PMWould you rather lose all your gear and weapons in which you grinded for countless hours? That happened to all of us when D2 launched.
