Bungie always takes suspected cheating and violations of their policies very seriously and they have a very thorough inspection of each account before processing a ban. Always separate gaming and school (especially coding stuff). It will most likely lead to a ban. Just submit a ticket and hope for a good outcome. Good luck.

Regardless if it has been more than a few days and you have not received any response from the appeal that would mean it was denied. The form even states sending multiple requests will not do any good.
