The Destiny Content Vaulting just mean that Bungie cant support to many content.
They are:
taking away 4 locations and giving us 2
taking away 7 strikes and giving us 2
taking away a lot of gambit and crucible maps and modes and dont see new ones
taking away 5 raids and giving us 1
taking away 11 catalysts instead of just make another way to get them
"It is designed to introduce you to the world and mechanics of Destiny and prepare you to play the action MMO game we all enjoy"
I havent play many MMOs but Ive never see one that takes away half the game every few years to add just a little more.
Again, Bungie are "vautling" just because they CANT support so many content at once like a real MMO.

Most of you don't raid so raids going away is a non factor. The planets that are going away are eye candy and nothing more and the strikes that are going away are mediocre at best. I don't keep old food that has gone bad in my fridge because I paid for it, I throw it out because it's useless.

6 답변My biggest thing is are you really upset about the things going away when they are barely played

8 답변It's a much needed cleanup of the game. I'm personally excited to get.. -New strikes -New story missions -New adventures -New lost sectors -New public events -New planet vendors -New weapons -New raid -New subclass I mean we're pretty much at the point where they vaulted Destiny 1 and realesed D2. It's a much needed and overdue refresher.

50 답변작성자: TheArtist 8/21/2020 12:14:52 PMNo. It’s because consoles aren’t designed with a game like this in mind. A game that is 200 GB —and growing—in size and uses P2P networking. If they didn’t do this, the base PS4 and XB1 would soon be no longer able to run it. Oh and MMOs do remove content from the game when necessary.

4 답변They're also taking away the ability to obtain several Exotics and not talking about any new ways to obtain them. It's such an unreasonable way to punish people who might have taken a break from the game but want to come back and give it a try.

6 답변All it is Bungie scaling down the over bloated useless content we have. Quality over quantity is better. Also Bungie are focusing on a new game so probably minimum staff as well. I have no idea what it takes to make and develop a game like D2....but laziness I don't think so!

I'm calling this shit right now! Half the stuff they're vaulting at some point you will have to earn it again in the future, they are doing this and are gonna give it back to us and call it new and make us re-grind for it!

I have to -blam!-ing laugh until I start crying whenever I remember the bullshit promise that that shitter made when he said that they were working on dialing back on the FOMO, because deleting half of the game is the ultimate form of FOMO.

2 답변Great post. There are 2 things people need to realize. Destiny is not a real MMO and bungie is not a AAA game developer.

11 답변Literally the easiest way to understand the DCV is by comparing it to your actual in-game vault. Everything you have in your vault is gear that is probably not relevant right now, or it’s gear that you’re not using so all it’s a doing is taking up space in your inventory. You’re not gonna delete it, but you need more space in your inventory, so you put the unused gear in the vault in the case that you may need it in the future. It’s literally just storage. Vault the content that is simply wasting space so you can make room for new content. And who knows? This gives them the opportunity to take vaulted content and touch it up so they can reintroduce it down the road. Why is something so simple so hard for people to comprehend?
