Someone at bungie really thinks players like to:
a. Be put up against a 6 stack in crucible when it is just yourself
b. Thrown into a match half way in which you are put on the losing team who is being blown out by the opposing team. Unless I am doing a quest or bounty for matches completed I can't see why anyone would like this.
c. Spawn around enemies or killing one enemy and having 3 enemies spawn around you
d. Getting your @$$ kicked by a sweaty clan and playing the same clan match after match
e. Play against cheaters
Regardless of where you stand on sbmm or cbmm, crucible needs definite improvements on these issues be it a single player queue, map size to player ratio (have a choice for 5v5 or 4v4, perhaps), and doing something about cheaters.
inb4 "get good", "then just get a sweaty 6 stack of your own", "then don't play crucible" and other lazy counter arguments

작성자: WulfPak666 8/27/2020 12:12:48 AMI enjoy when people send me messages calling me a "stat boosting try hard" when I'm using the same exact weapons as them just using them better. I especially love when I'm doing good with a particular weapon and I see people pull it out of their collections mid game to use it against me and it fails miserably. Best part is im not even that good of a player, I just don't play like an idiot (well... sometimes..) There was one game I had in IB where I and a friend were going against a 6 man team and we BTFO'd them so hard with Last Word and Thorn that all 6 of em sent us a message afterwards calling us hackers. Funny part is we still lost that match because our team couldn't hold flags for shit.

7 답변I'm so confused why everyone seems to think this is a binary issue when there are other solutions available. 1. Put a region lock button. Turn it on for less laggy matches with people in your region. Turn it off if you want to play with a friend that is not near you. Easy. 2. Only match region locked players with a SBMM system. There is no need for CBMM if the connections are regional. I know its not a fix all due to server locations and other speed factors. At least this would cause less issue. Crucible isn't so derelict that there are not enough players on to make a system like this work.

4 답변A) just because it’s a stack doesn’t mean they’re all good players. I’ve beaten stacks as a solo player many times. B) punish people for leaving mid game, the only reason you’re being put in that situation is from people throwing in the towel. C) learn the spawns, teams spawn trap other teams often to take advantage of the game D) after the game, back out so you don’t keep queuing them. Pretty simple, you can see who you’re queuing up against before you load in so you have a chance to back out first (This applies to stacks also) E) 100% cheaters need to be addressed sooner rather than later.

I'm pretty much in the same boat - typically 8 of 10 matches will be a slaughter, this is more prevalent in IB as well because of the initial light levels from grinding, before stripping away the bonus light and the "hunt" then makes a ton of mercy matches. So, I see the usual comments and ask... because I live near a major internet hub, I should be penalized for having a low ping rate? I'd also volunteer that a hybrid is what should be used, mix of meta K/D and CBMM, light should never be used at all. Great that really good players get to have their way if they also live near a low ping hub, but that doesn't seem like a very enjoyable experience for other paying customers. Bottom line.. while SBMM may be nice for the low level masses, is it really fair to enjoy an advantage when the ping based playing field is advantageous regardless of being "good" or being "clanned" with CBMM, before the match even starts? One last comment to Bungie - stop making so many maps with red in them, I'm almost blind to picking out opposing players on maps full of red/red shades. Use more blues or greens, loved some of the maps from D1. Or at least have a better rotation based on colors...

17 답변My issue is thus, I make no bones about even being average, I am middle aged, and use a controller so in reality am never likely to be any good, I think I AM 0.9 or something and most of that is due to catalyst farming in mom control so dying far more. Sbmm was a god send for me, made it possible to enjoy pvp, HAVE close matches with similar level guys where even I got the odd 30 kill game, led my team, consistently was top 3. I am now always last, quit frequently, average about 8 kills and only touch pvp when I have to, bungo basically removed me from pvp as its just endless dying with the odd kill, thanks. I can't get better much, so let me enjoy it again instead of making an entire game mode about the better players ONLY.

1 답변I basically agree with everything you said. Bungie will look at their stats and as long people are wining around 45% of their matches they are happy. CBMM is stupid. Full Stop Great players scanning all these threads and try to bully anyone into silence. Fact is good players should never be in the same match as weak players and average player. It doesn't matter if I win or lose but i matters how I lose. When i get my bunghole -blam!- 3 times in a row by sweaty 6 stacks i turn off the game. Arguments like: "you get better" are not wrong but in order to get better there needs to be a constant to develop a learning curve, you need to be able to see your progress in numbers as a positive reinforcement. Nobody with a KDA of 1.2 will become a 2.5 player and when you range between 13-20 kills per game that is where you can focus on to get better. When I get 20 kills and in the next game 7 something isn't right. There need to be 2 groups to protect the weaker players and if the player base is too thin for that then reduce the game modes. The way it is right now, players literally suffer and will turn off the game and I am pretty sure Bungie doesn't want that being in direct competition with Cyberpunk in November. Players will stop playing.

I've never particularly enjoyed D2 PvP. I don't know what's changed about it since D1, but I've only ever used it to grind Bright Engrams and Bright Dust. I did get the Pinnacles in Y2 though. I don't play it seriously and I never will. I have other games with PvP that's just better made simple as that.

I enjoy PvP even though I’m not great. What is starting to bug me is the fact that I used to be able to log into Control and try out a new load out or play style... It used to be a chill place. Now it’s Unbroken 6 stacks with 10,000 revoker kills. Try using non meta weapons against that lot🤣

4 답변I wish we could see the lobby we are joining during quickplay matches. During Banner, I can see that I matching a stacked team. I back out, and re-queue until there is nothing over a three stack in there. Not sure why that is possible for Banner but not in any other playlist.
-
2 답변I'd like to see two mixed playlist, one SBMM and one CBMM. I'd like to see better match making, especially in Comp where the stakes are higher.

That's why, despite having been mostly a Crucible player for years, I almost stopped playing PVP for now. It's no longer fun, so I don't play it. When nobody will be left to play, save for the sweats, Bungie will do something to make it a more pleasant experience. Hopefully.

9 답변But if it was a fair match then the game would be boring. One of the basic argument from those who live in pvp. Another one is get good. Or spelled git gud. Some players refuse to have the game fair and balanced.

1 답변A great solution to spawncamping would be to remove the small ass maps in rotation. Dead Cliffs, Cauldron, Gambler's Ruin, and that other moon map I can't remember the name to, are just not big enough for 6v6. Most of these maps are too small for 4v4 too.

In regards to (b), sometimes I queue up for Crucible when all I want is my Pinnacle gear (meaning I have no intention of really trying), and so I am thrilled to get put into the tail end of a blow out match. Overwatch has this selection screen where you can choose Tank, Damage, or Support role queues. They show you the approximate wait times for each, and offer daily rewards for queueing into the least popular roles. I see a lot of people wanting fresh matches, so I think Bungie should borrow this feature from Overwatch and allow people to selectively queue into ongoing matches for extra rewards. (Engrams, mod components, Bright Dust, hell I don't care what). I don't see it happening though. Bungie only "borrows" money making ideas from other developers. Looking at you season passes and remastered content....

Got into several matches before work. One of them was a full 6 stack of Flawless Trials players that made a point to never capture any zones and beat us just purely on 150 kills. One of them had like a 43 KDA. All of them Running stuff like Summoner, Astral, Gnawing Hunger, and other cheese that literally beat us despite us technically having a power play all game. My team had about 20 TOTAL kills between all 6 of us. Normally I get 15-25 kills a game, I float between a 1.2-2.0 KDA depending on if I'm trying to have fun and just play with my favorite weapons and mess around or if I'm trying to sweat. But I have NEVER.... EVER. In ALL my time in Destiny 1 and 2 been stomped that hard. Imagine losing to a sweaty team that PURPOSELY NEVER CAPTURED ZONES, 150 kills to 20. I GOT MY FIRST "THE CROWN IS MINE" MEDAL SEVERAL TIMES TODAY.

You can thank pvp content creators they cried a river to get these changes, why you may ask it because if there not getting 50-60 kills. With that god role dire promise, no one's gonna want to grind for it,think of most content creators as bungie sales reps. You'll be surprised how much bungie listens to them, we won 4 matches in a row against the same team in the end we backed out kinda felt sorry for them even though they tea bagged early in first game.

1 답변My problem is that this isn't SBMM vs CBMM, because there is no such thing as CBMM. Their idea of CBMM is just no matchmaking at all. I'm playing people outside my skill level, sure. But I'm also playing people in totally different COUNTRIES too. The lag in crucible is insanely bad and has never been this bad in destiny 2 EVER.

1 답변I'm so -blam!-in tired of having to play this dogshit. Get one shot out of supers im over the bullshit. But they lock gear behind. So you have to play it. Just pisses me the -blam!- off every damn time

I don’t get it I’ve seen less lag in the crucible this season than I ever had in destiny before I have no issue killing guardians and knocking out 11 bounties in 1-2 games I’m not sure what server you guys are getting in but it’s not like that for me at all

Add SBMM and CBMM in a MM menu Add Region lock Seriously, I'm bored of playing crucible at this point and hop on like once a week to play some matches. I miss the sweat fest but hated the lag. At least the competition was there. I Elo chased during the last few seasons but now? What's the point. I feel no need to improve because my matches are all the same. Comp is terrible on PC or else I'd sit in there all day. Too many cheaters
