How so? I obviously pay way more attention to events than you do if you truly think that. Every few years we get some big scares. I will say that yes, this year has had more than most, but nothing even [i]close[/i] to justify saying that the world is ending. If you said that the world is ending during the Great Depression, WWII, or even the Cold War, I could understand why you'd say that. But even those humanity has moved past. It's really just more of the same-old. Even [i]if[/i] America had another Civil War, that wouldn't be the end. Although jumping to the conclusion that there will "obviously" be one is, again, an overstatement. The world moves on.
