This is a major thing Bungie needs to do. As a sort of newish player, Bungie DESPERATELY needs some area like a rejuvenated Farm where brand new players can figure out what there is to do in the game. What a "nightfall" even means. Here's a tent for all the raids, here's a trailer for the Raid to wet your whistle, here's a clear simple list of all the cool shit you can get out of the raid, doesn't this sound great? Here's an in-game LFG list, or hell, even something as simple as here's a link to the Destiny 2 Discord Raid channels.

25 답변Dude this game is shallower than a shot glass. I dunno what you think gamers need spelled out for them, but honestly everyone would be much better off if they just invested their time in different games. Almost everything is better than Destiny right now.

3 답변작성자: Kiro - 13 8/7/2020 3:21:52 AMI recently attepted to get a friend to download destiny. When I explained that all your gear was eternal(no sunset) and as a casual this was a excellent selling point. log on play a little come back next week or next month your gear is still just as relevant. This was something that interested him. But when sunsetting became more public knowledge it put the full breaks on it for him. So Bungie I say this. With out the sunset the current system favors less intensive/casual/ new players while also rewarding the hardcore with god rolls they want to chase. A rotating loot pool will deff hurt the casual player base far more and you dont need a GD masters in econ to know that casual players are the bread and butter to every video game.

5 답변작성자: TheArtist 8/7/2020 12:56:37 PMWe've been arguing for this for years....and Bungie just refuses to do it. They want clans to be foundation of the game....and stable communities to arise from them. But the fact is that this is not how most people experience the game, and disempowering them to play the game without joining a clan is not going to change things. It will just make people get frustrated and stop playing. There's an old saying that Bungie needs to have a reality-check with: YOU HAVE TO PUT THE SIDEWALKS WHERE THE PEOPLE WALK..... While I think matchmaking for raids is a bit unrealistic, In-game LFG (not subordinated to clans like Guided Games was ) is not an unreasonable thing to ask for.

1 답변작성자: TJ_Dot 8/6/2020 11:16:30 PMWhat blows my mind is how the original purpose of the tower was pretty much to be THE "Social Hub" and suddenly that's being forgotten.
Destiny's fact sheet mentions the city, the social space players will use to refuel, repair, and rearm before going out on their next adventure, will be played in third-person.
2013 Eurogamer article How is it that the location that is pretty much supposed to be dedicated to Guardian Social life is being ignored when desiring features the game has failed to provide in its 6 years? Why is the farm the ideal LFG location? Because it's empty? Sorry to say, there isn't enough space for a bunch of tents. Even if you consolidated all activities into one terminal, why put it there? The problem with the Farm is that there's pretty much no reason to go there and also no reason to put anything there. It doesn't have an identity, it was literally a temporary base of operations until the City was reclaimed. It makes no sense to do anything serious with it technically and figuratively (the game world itself) Another thing to consider, if the EDZ ever gets Vaulted, the farm goes with it. Gonna Vault an LFG Zone, makes no sense.

2 답변Wow... He is like the first person I can remember saying what MANY of us have been saying since this game came out... Match making, match making... MATCH MAKING!!! I'm just about at my end with this game, couldn't even do a Legend nightfall solo tonight... I mean, on youtube I see people doing grandmaster solo (usually on PC, I'm on xbox) isn't fair and makes no god damn sense... Unless you are clanned up or LFG, there is so much you just can't do, no matter what level you are at. There is honestly so little reason left to play this game... I'm so tired of having this crap gated. I won't bother anymore.. I'll play with my friend from time to time but otherwise I'm not wasting another moment playing with one hand tied behind my back. I've had it.

작성자: aequus 8/7/2020 7:57:00 AMI'd much rather they actaully focus on making this game more lively. The worlds are dull, strikes are old, all PvE is boring and about the same as it was since the beginning of Destiny. Nothing really changes. And yet they still can't pump out content nearly fast enough to keep players interest very long. If bungie truly wants this game to be an MMO they have massive amounts of work to do. And really an in game LFG would be a decent start. Also, they should just vault the farm to. Its ugly, unimaginative and serves no purpose any longer.

This has been asked for since D1 an all bungie has done is guided games which they put zero effort into getting that to be a success, I highly doubt we will get what he was saying in the video, the game does desperately need it but at the same time this game is being developed but the laziest dev team in the industry right now.

10 답변They already said they’re changing the new light experience. Gosh, some people are impatient...

4 답변I got a friend of mine who started the game yesterday, only to find all the campaigns are scrapped/hidden, most of the planets are level locked, and basically all he can do is run through some strikes to level up and hope there's more for him. I can't see his screen, so he's probably missing something, but with Red War gone there's very little to introduce new players into the game.

2 답변작성자: RopeAdope 8/6/2020 2:10:03 PMI think it affects the PvP mains and hits them a lot harder. Lemme explain.... This game really isn’t F2P. Have you tried playing with friends that are new and haven’t paid? From a PvE standpoint, it’s basically unplayable Run the pit? Nope. Raids? Not really. Yes I’m exaggerating a bit but unless you want to run through years of stuff and explain everything down to every enemy subclass and race and bounties and what counts and literally every nuance in the game, it’s futile. The catalyst to the futility has been the adoption of disposable seasonal content. Systems have been built upon systems that no longer exist. Nobody wants a history lesson just trying to shoot aliens and earn good guns. Bungie is literally banking on this frustration. But not PvP. Free for all. Free for everyone. Cheaters that have no checks and balances. How many people have tried F2P PvE, couldn’t access anything they actually wanted to try, got frustrated and said screw this game. I’ll just go make the game miserable for people where I have no limits. PvP. I can’t stand PvP now. I just avoid it as much as I can. PvP mains have historically been their own worst enemy, just look at the cbmm vs sbmm fiasco. Nobody is gonna stick around to get farmed all the time. But it is also the only part of the game with no paywall restrictions. TL;DR- Bungie is banking on player frustrations leading to F2P inductees forking over cash for a better PvE experience. And it’s backfiring. Driving the “ACTUAL” playerbase away Edit: this is the first season I haven’t enjoyed PvP. If that means anything or not, I dunno. But this season...yikes

2 답변Ive tried to help a handful of new players and they just don't understand the idea of grinding, or doing content over and over for new gear. They just assume that they can just buy stuff since there is stuff in stores. The tool tips are nice. And the popular do arrive right when you need to know them, but people aren't reading them. They just don't care.

10 답변I just realized the Farm will have no purpose going forward lol At least hold events there, like come on.

6 답변His heart is in the right place, an in game lfg would work. But some of the stuff he says, like, expanding from a 16 man instance to "i think 200 people would be nice" is just wishfull thinking. Same for having videos of the raids in game. Audio and video files take up more space than actual game files. He needs to be more realistic. A simple quest board with searchable parameters like in monster hunter would do it

4 답변작성자: Corrick II 8/6/2020 3:18:57 PMBungie has a serious problem with communicating what to do and when in their game. I’m not asking for new players to be held by the hand, but a few more obvious road signs would be nice. And yeah, the Farm needs a reason to exist, period. Hawthorne, clans, firing range, holiday parties, all that stuff could and should go to the Farm. Hawthorne especially, her being in the Tower makes NO sense when you think about her character. It would at least make the world feel a little bigger, right now the Tower is literally all that matters.

That sounds an awful lot like the Undaunted hub in ESO. Those videos tho ...they would put so many people "outta bidness mane"... Unless they incorporated their videos into the game as guides..... Interesting. By all means, they've taken pieces of many games, and people praise Bungie like they came up with it. What's scary is if anyone plays ESO, the same names, places in ESO lore, are used in Destiny lore. That's what happens when your writer bails on ya. That'd be par for the course though, just more rip offs of other games, incorporated into the Destiny Universe and people claim "innovation" and "bright future".....
ah boy
