I mean...the Gardener literally uses the Traveler as a means to cheat the system and help the weak survive the Game of Life. So...yes. The Traveler, and by extension, the Gardener, must be destroyed so that the strong could prevail as it should be.

No, you stated the Traveler helped the weak survive when they shouldn’t have. You’re included in that bracket. You should be dead, and to follow the purest interpretation of the Sword Logic where necromancy is a taboo you must end your own existence.

작성자: Shockwave 989 7/31/2020 11:41:44 AMDo you then admit that we were supposed to survive? Because evidently we weren’t, we were powerless in the face of the Collapse and only the Traveler saved us. You preach the fake doctrine of the Dredgens while completely ignoring the fact that the great big ball in the sky is the whole reason why we’re still alive and why the Space Doritos even give you the slightest consideration.

작성자: Shockwave 989 7/31/2020 4:03:36 PMIncorrect, unless you wish to imply that the Space Doritos actively forced the creation of Ghost and the utilisation of Light by resurrected Guardians. Because if you haven’t noticed, without the Light we wouldn’t have stood a chance. The Darkness still fully stood behind Oryx and the Hive as it’s Champions at that point, hence why Oryx still had the Darkness’s favour. His death was what created the current interest that the Darkness was in Guardians specifically, NOT Humanity as a whole. Although Eris is a rather interesting exception to that, though she has picked up Hive sorcery since losing her Light.

작성자: Shockwave 989 7/31/2020 7:16:18 PMAin’t any evidence either way. Just going by the admittance of the Darkness itself.
”The enemy insinuates that we are hobbled by the Traveler’s protection

”If Traveler and Humanity cooperate, both suffer.”
Current path.
”If humanity mains the Traveler as it tries to flee, both are destroyed.”
Debunking the Rasputin shot the Traveler theory for the final
”But if the Traveler chooses to help us, and we turn against it, offer it to the enemy.... The enemy suggests this would have been our salvation.”
The Darkness’s desired outcome The Darkness does not state that the Traveler is manipulating us for it’s own selfish ends. The Darkness does not state the Traveler is the true evil. The Darkness only argues that to follow the Traveler is to be coddled, that we should instead embrace a bloodier calling. In it’s argumentation and in your argumentation we see a similar falsehood to the lie that was fed to the Three Sister all those millennia ago when they struck a bargain with the Worm Gods. Much like the Hive cannot ever be part of the shape due to the very bargain that empowered them, we could not have arisen to this position without the very Light the Darkness so heavily critiques. It’s less city dogma and more of an open mind. If I was the city dogma type, I wouldn’t have plunged headfirst into Toland’s writing and I wouldn’t humour the teachings of Ulan-Tan and I definitely wouldn’t have sided with the Drifter. But do go on and spew your nihilistic viewpoint.

You just said it yourself. “Subjective”. There’s no room for feelings in battle. Objectively speaking, logically speaking, siding with the Darkness and embracing it is the only winning strategy. And I don’t know about you, but I’d rather win and stay alive than fail and lose my life.

작성자: Petra Fisher 8/1/2020 10:57:04 PMCrota? Dealt with.....twice. Oryx? He was pretty powerful, but nothing four people with rocket launchers couldn’t handle. Panoptys? Often overlooked (for lack of a difficult fight) but that was a considerable feat in my eyes. Xol? Wanted us to kill him. Riven? Was happy we beat her, but was actually trying to kill us (I think). So that’s a point for us. Savathûn? Pending.....
Those are all the beings I remember that I’d consider powerful enough to be called godlike.
작성자: JVNori 8/1/2020 5:34:46 PMDon't forget Crota. I'm not sure if you count Atheon and the Sol Inherent, but Crota and his brood wiped out thousands of Guardians and slain Eris Morn's fireteam. We should count him since he's considered an Ascendant hive god.

Well, I think the Winnower is now too angry to simply leave the game to its default state. Remember, the Winnower and Gardener once would simply oversee the flower game but the Winnower made itself into a rule within the game to counter the Gardener doing the same. I dont think the Winnower can just remove its playing pieces (The Pyramids) from the board, so we are stuck eternally balancing the two until a greater force can severely limit or remove both. Only force once capable of that was formless Mara Sov before she limited herself and the rest of the Awoken to be human-like.
