Controller preference?
For those of us using controllers to play Destiny, do you prefer the Xbox controller or the Playstation controller? Not trying to start a console war conversation, I'm just curious about which one feels better for you. Shooters for me feel better with the Xbox Controllers, while I usually prefer the Playstation's layout for RPGs and such. Something about the triggers on the Xbox just seems to work better for me. The shoulder buttons used to be a problem with the OG Xbox and 360, but lately, they've made it where I don't have that problem anymore.

1 답변Xbox controller. It’s just way more comfortable and natural. That new PS5 controller looks pretty nice tho.

2 답변I like the Xbox One controller better, but the sticks always feel "loose" if that makes sense. I have to turn my sensitivity down to 4 on Xbox when it's on 5 on PS4. When I play for Extended periods of time on PS4, like with my current Ghost of Tsushima binge, my thumbs and forearm will start to hurt after a while. That doesn't happen with an Xbone controller.

Ps4 triggers are smaller and allow for more instantaneous fire withought cramping your fingers by pre-pulling it halfway down. The Xbox is more comfortable on the lower hand and thumbs and better for longer sessions. I play with both but Ps4s reaction speed is undeniable.

9 답변I prefer the Xbox controller but I play on ps4 so I bought the scuf vantage because it has the Xbox design, then it broke a month later.

2 답변I prefer the xbox thumbsticks but think the ps4 has slightly better triggers, however trying the ps4 controller on destiny didn't feel great with guns where you have to repeatedly pull the trigger, think it might just be the smaller controller size

The trigger & joystick feel more natural than that of the Ds4 controller. The Playstation controller feels good too and I like the speaker thingy on the controller, but the triggers, trigger me, due to trigger placement.

4 답변Can't use Xbox controller, just can't. PS3 controller was perfect for me, PS4 is too big n hurts my hands, I've managed to get used to it, but I've gained arthritis in my right hand

1 답변I like the location of the sticks on PS4, but not a fan of the triggers and bumpers. XBOX‘s are close to the size that I want, but I don’t like the “click” feel.

3 답변Before the DS4 I would've said I prefer 360 controllers. DS3 was so flimsy compared to that hefty 360. DS4 is great though. Good weight. Good proportions. Excited to try the DualSense.
