Hello everyone I was just wondering how likely it would be for bungie to unban my account according to this situation.
Me and my little brother play destiny 2 together.
I mainly play on Xbox and my brother plays to play on Pc.
We enabled Cross save so we could grind together and have progress saved.
Unfortunately my little brother isn't old enough to have a job so he plays destiny on my laptop.
A few days ago I went to the store and ran a few errands while I let my little brother play destiny like usual.
when I came home I found my little brother with my laptop, he had it closed and was holding it away from me. Before I could ask what he did he began crying and explained he got my account banned.
At first I thought we was kidding, but his tears quickly me come to the realization he was telling the truth.
I asked what had happened. and he explained to me that he had saw a video of someone cheating, And wondered how easy it would be to try it for himself.
After giving him some brotherly discipline I took my laptop and went to my room and opened destiny 2, indeed he was telling the truth.
Both his steam account and my Xbox account are banned, it almost took everything out of me not to break everything in my room... instead I contacted bungie and wrote a ban appeal in a fit of sadness and anger.
I read through and I've that read ban appeals aren't guaranteed. But under
These circumstances do you think I can have my accounts back?
I've already system reset my PC, so what ever garbage he installed isn't there anymore. And I've put locks on my laptop so only I can access it.
Like I said previously, I've already filed a ban appeal. I'm just worried I'm going to be banned from a game I love of unfairly and I'm willing to provide as much proof as possible.
Thanks again guys!!

Hello all, after reading most of your comments it looks like I'm done for. I've already came to terms with my loss. It's time to find a new favorite pastime. I want to thank this community, for every thing it's done for me, all the raids you guys carried me through. All the crucible we've played. All the motes we've banked. Thank you guys. I have no hatred for bungie, just that hellspawn I call a brother. It's been fun and it's felt like a lifetime. Oh well. "all good things must come to an end". Thanks again guys!!!! For everything. Guardian down.
