Hi
Since Destiny 2 shows in steam as "Full controller compatible" I was trying to use several os the official supported controller on steam but I found that almost none of them works on Destiny 2, I can only made it work with the xbox one controller, the steam controller (but with a configuration that makes it really hard to use) and the Xbox 360 controller.
I see that many people have to use third party apps to make controllers works on destiny but I do not think this is a good workaround as this apps will convert the input in a Xbox controller input for the whole system so if the controller have any extra features (like gyroscope) it will stop working on all the system and not just in Destiny 2.
I expected that a game with the full controller support label on Steam will at least be compatible with the gamepads that are officially supported on steam that meets the button and stick configuration required for the game but it does not seem to be the case.
It also happens with remote play, the game itself shows as Optimized for Remote Play but almost none controller works on remote play, this time not even the steam controller works.
Also I can not find any info about support or compatibility aside the gamepad compatible label
So I just want to know, What are the controller supported on Destiny 2??

That the problem, there is a lot of info from users and worksarounds that may work, but there is not a proper way to play the game with almost any controller that is not the xbox1, xbox360 or ps4 controller. I still can not find any official info that indicate models or specs that the controller should have to work.

To connect a PS4 controller, you must connect it wired through USB or Bluetooth via the official PlayStation 4 DualShock USB Adapter. To use the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, Steam input must be enabled. Although you may need to adjust the dead zone as it is extremely sensitive. One or two clicks to the right on both sticks should be fine.
