Luke Smith is definitely a problem, but there are a couple more that need to be replaced too.
As long as the same people are in charge, this game will forever suffer from being mediocre at best.
I love the gun play the most about this game. What MMO do you like better than Destiny?
I couldn’t get into ESO, was mostly meh compared to Skyrim.
Warframe got utterly boring after 3 months - here I am still playing Destiny after 6 years.
Division 2 was a blast for 2 months then meh.
Breakpoint was bland, Wildlands a little better, don’t like the 3rd person play.
Borderlands just stupid after a while.
Anthem - utter catastrophe, no comment at all.
I am talking in the context of console. I’m sure there are masterpieces of gameplay on PC that I’m unaware of.
After all those AAA multiplayer online games I find myself back to Destiny 2 and it feels just so good.
I see the same complaints on the forums here I’ve seen over and over the past 6 years but we still have a huge Destiny 2 playerbase. I have no issues finding people to play with on lfg. I accomplished 4 different raids this past weekend all with pug lfg groups. How is this a dead game?
I played Borderlands 1 and 2 for a long time. Borderlands 3, I couldn't past level 20. Idk what it is, or why I don't like it as much.
I played Warframe and got to MR23 and stopped. Haven't been back in a couple years.
I've played both Divisions (playing through 2 right now). Not too bad of a game, just like anything else, it gets repetitious.
Anthem was just plain horrible! Wasted my money for sure on that trash.
Diablo was a pretty good franchise, sunk a lot of time in all 3 of those games.
Path if Exiles was good for awhile, then that game got old.
Destiny's gunplay and their art style is awesome, but that's where it stops. It could be so much better, but the devs seem to make it worse as they go.
Games to look forward to....Outriders, cyberpunk2077 and Godfall. Hopefully one of those games becomes a great game that you can sink some time into.
As for Destiny, I'll come back when Luke Smith and the others are gone and replaced by new people from outside of the company.
