OMG, you folks really do not understand how to constructively give feedback. Most of the toxic responses in here dictate using horrid LFG system and horrid i mean whom you end up playing with once you do join so, let us get past that point. Another point here is the majority of the player base doesn't have time to dedicate a full round of Raid runs, Dungeon runs, Night Falls, Gambit, Crucible, and Bounties. On top of that doing it on three characters..its just a fact. I would assume pruuudy much most of the population see's the situation if you run three characters switching out weapons on each one and doing a run per character via GoS that alone gives you at or around 15 pinnacle opportunities on that one activity ALONE! Yet, you, us, me and the entire community has to understand..MOST do NOT have that kinda time. So shush your mouth about...its EASY. Yes, I do have that kinda time but the system needs to be reworked PERIOD. Yes, power level does matter and trust me the ego trips run amok around here like crazy. You have to see outside the box here waaaaay outside the box. This isn't about the physical power of your characters, its about November! whoever is sitting at least hard cap has a HUGE advantage coming out the gate

I get it. As a primarily solo player, dungeons, raids and trials are just something I don't have time to do or don't want to do. Even Nightmare Hunts and Night Falls are tough to do some weeks. They do need some kind of duplicate protection. I also think they could add a couple long-term pinnacles...like valor, infamy, glory resets. If those would drop a +2, that would be a welcome and pleasant surprise. Exotics could also help in the power slog (yes, slog, because it's a long process for most). If they drop in the wild they should give a +2. Just another fun little aspect of the game to make leveling more enjoyable.

I think throttle is the wrong word man. Dup protection should be applied and worst case pinnacle + 2 should never drop in the same consecutive slot.

In a row, I got: 8 pinnacles + 4 prime engrams. All energy weapons. The mathematical odds of this event occurring are simply impossible: there is nothing random about bungie’s RNG. So now I just go for the umbral engrams so I don’t have to play activities that I find extremely boring or frustrating.
