Not sure what changes you made in crucible but the lag is ridiculous. People completely invisible. Blinking hunters. getting 1 shot by hand cannons. This is not the crucible from last week.

작성자: JazzyPaladin477 7/20/2020 7:25:09 PMThey drove all the fresh sbmm meat out of the game and now it’s back to sweaty vs sweaty and the garbage connections that come with it, same as classic play mix last season. Played a game the other night and caught the top fragging player on the other side (42 kills?) in a afk moment his spawn. Took 2 point-blank blasts from felwinter and two melees to kill him. Fabulous.

Must be the drapes of extinct baby hippos from the 1800s giving them maximum resilience protection, but still, and Hunters just can't stop jumping all over the place because Rahool threw chili powder in their knickers before entering the cucible. Edit: So yes, the cucible has terrible lag.

작성자: GallowsPole 7/19/2020 9:15:02 PMImpossible. It’s CBMM. The MoaC (Mother of all Connections) that PvP gods wished for! Pray to the heavens this lag must go! People just bypass it with a VPN. Dumbest decision ever made except static rolls.

4 답변CBMM my left ... Its not CBMM, I have played against Japanese players... while I live in the Mountain Timezone of the US. WTF

2 답변Yes, something changed recently. The last game I played against a pile of very lagged cheaters from USA and China (while being in the UK). And they were not even in fireteams. Looks like CBMM is broken now.

20 답변With Peer to Peer networking (unlike 99% of all major and some indie games, Density has no Hosting Servers at all - just each person in the match connected to each other), your at the mercy of Bungle's ability to match people up by "Connection". P2P sort of works with a large population, but as soon as the population drops, or you live outside of North America (or an area where people don't play Density), or you play at non peak hours, well then you get the crap show of lag your currently experiencing because they pretty well match you against anyone playing. Secondly, because Bungle relies on your internet for uploads and download to 12+ other people in a match (versus one up and one download with Host Servers), it puts a fair bit of stress on your connection, especially the upload part. Most Internet has asymmetric throughput, with download being much higher rate than upload. ReSpawn (makers of TitanFall and Apex Legends) had an excellent article on this and why they chose Host Servers because it offers end users a much better and consistent experience. Lastly, Peer to Peer exposes your IP address to anyone in the game, making it fairly easy to do things from rate throttling to DOS attacks on you. A lot of these sorts of issues would simply disappear if Bungle would use dedicated Host Servers..

1 답변It's really getting out of hand. The lag haa never been this bad, every single game people are teleporting and shots registering late. You would think that the connections got better with CBMM, but it has been a total opposite. The matchmaking team could really use a couple of people who know what they are doing.

Maybe there are a lot less people in the crucible now. Dozens of posts from what you guys call filthy casuals/potatoes stating they were done. If thats the case, then with cbmm you will be matched with whoever is available. Had horrible lag all last week in crucible, thought it was me but played halo and apex no probs.

Yeah I've seen aome weird stuff so far including but not limited to: a titan that can teleport and a warlock that could shoot you once in the body with a bow but somehow get a side arm kill. And im on an average 600-700mbs internet

Why: connection based matchmaking = proximity based matchmaking? I am in Europe with a 1gig/sec connection, and there is no lag whatsoever on my side. America may actually be suffering from local congestion issues that cannot to be blamed on bungie.
