There are very few worse feelings in Crucible than doing everything right, and still just getting domed. But, given the present nature of flinch, that's happening more than ever before.

1 답변I’d bet all guns do this and snipers aren’t treating flinch any different, it’s just actually noticeable due to the nature of snipers being the only zoomed in OHK gun in d2.

23 답변Halo may have had the answer... get shot and your scope descopes. At least in PvP it might be worth considering. It feels like crap doming someone with a primary and then getting sniped by the same guy out of now where. Its the same I feel about getting one shot by moutaintop while I am blitzing a guy with primary fire. I feel cheated.

4 답변Yeah, there's no point in engaging Snipers with a Primary anymore since 90% of the time you get punished for it. I used to think it was due to lower RPM weapons inducing less flinch but after emptying 7 consecutive Suros Headshots on a Sniper and still getting sniped, I realized otherwise. Highcal doesn't seem to work either. This mechanic alone makes the whole "Snipers take tons of skill" concept questionable.

I myself don't want to see more flinch but I feel its an aim assist issue. There are plenty of times playing when I zoom in knowing im off center but the aim assist makes me scope in right on the head and it really messes me up. I am already dragging by the time the scope flies up and now I've dragged off the target because the game does the aiming for me. Flinch ok but the damn scope shouldn't drag itself over an enemies head before the player inputs anything. More people are seeing an influx in sniper usage because auto rifles are so dominant right now. Its hard to challenge an auto with any other weapon than another auto or a shotgun and close range or a sniper at long range.

4 답변As someone that uses a sniper, when I'm getting flinched and aiming for heads I don't hit shit, I push the aim lower to compensate. This still isn't reliable. If you time the bounce of the reticle between shots received you can hit the head but again just isn't reliable. If you are stood stock still shooting a sniper they are going to come you, move while shooting and it is impossible to control that reticle I promise you. Snipers are in a good spot, I don't feel like I'm able to just run around with one out like HoW era D1 and consistently kill with every shot. The ammo limit certainly reigns them in a lot too. Back in the day about 90 percent of my kills per match were with a sniper and now the ratio is definitely switched to primary being about that. Nerfing them is just going to ruin them completely. They certainly ain't breaking crucible, especially compared to horrific weapons like jotunn and heavy in crucible in general. I think crucible is in a fairly good spot, certain weapons don't seem to be feasible though, I think a buff of them might be a better call than needing anything else nerfed. The flow of games is good atm don't ruin it.

15 답변Personal opinion; The state of flinch is dumb BUT 1- proper movement alleviates a vast majority of the cases of getting flinched snipe. That doesn’t make the mechanic okay, since the masses don’t have good enough movement to avoid it most of the time 2- a sniper nerf is a scary prospect considering how much Bungie caters towards shotguns, Think back to forsaken, when we had very few options for low zoom snipers, even less in good archetypes with good perks (basically the situation we are looking at with sunsetting) Shotgun useage was basically triple that of sniper useage, and it was a garbage ape fest of a meta. If we go in to beyond light without any good sniper options AND a sniper flinch nerf AND a sniper zoom/range nerf (hinted at a few twabs ago) I don’t even want to think of the state of the meta, since shotty players get to keep astral, and fellwinters, and I’m assuming pulses/scouts will get a buff, further strengthening shotty builds... It’s a dangerous road to be on,

3 답변Autos are the new scout rifles... I'd have shotguns, snipers and grenade launchers on spawn have 1 ammo instead of 2... Finch is just RNG.

1 답변for those who don’t know, flinch in this game is where your reticle attempts to gravitate back to a players head when taking oncoming fire. To possibly rectify this, Bungie could just implement a change where all weapons and their reticles are actually thrown off target as they take fire, regardless of how much damage they take.

1 답변Snipers are the one nerf hill I'll die on. Flinch should be monodirectional and build on itself, the minimum zoom should be 40, there shouldn't be bullet magnetism to the head, and a bodyshot shouldn't put you in the red on a middle impact (105 damage Bodyshots, nerf high impacts to 140 or so). These snipers are entirely too forgiving and oppressive for the game's own good. [spoiler]Also buff FRs pls and thx[/spoiler]
