Sick of the cheaters, are you ever going to do anything about it?
Bungie, I was worried when you first split from Microsoft - concerned that you didn't have the resources to make a great game. Then Destiny 1 appeared, it was OK at launch and the problems have been well documented. But it got better and better. Destiny 2 made some great improvements, but also some very bad choices (multiple raids in one location etc). Now you split from Activision (a good choice), but made the game Free to Play...cheating was always an issue, but now it's gone beyond a joke.
Just last night myself and 2 clan members went into trials - now I'm no top tier player, not even the most deluded mind could try to claim that. But when my Nova Bomb plows through all THREE opposing guardians, not even tickling them, suspension of disbelief goes out the window. We had a few good games, we lost but they were good games where we were just outplayed - I can deal with that. But just this morning I landed three (somewhat fluffed) body shots on somebody in Momentum Control - they should have died, but nothing, not even a sliver of health was taken off.
"Aim assist", wall hacks, teleports, invulnerability, weapon spamming. When are you going to address the [b][i]real issues[/i][/b] that are in this game?
I am loath to suggest using something like Easy Anti-Cheat. But at this point I think you need to, I would happily take the performance impact in order to have a better PvP game!
However, like so many other game related issues, I don't think your listening, I don't think you care. Just so long as people keep buying Silver right?

Between the cheating and the constant error codes it's becoming unbearable to play sometimes. Really wish we were able to move to dedicated servers it would enhance the great gun play that keeps myself and others coming back.

Cheating on PC is out of control. Seriously do you have monkeys monitoring the anti cheat? It. Does. Not. Work. Communicate what you plan to do about it. Your "our anti cheat will get them eventually" motto is going to kill this game

Some guy on my friends list went flawless. He’s a trash pvp player. Checked destiny tracker, him and the two others that ran trials with him. All won the last seven games with 0.00kds each. Seems perfectly legit. If I can find that with a two second search, what the -blam!- is Bungie actually doing to stop this shit from happening.

I used to play trials and went to the lighthouse every week back on D1 and even on console, my team and I dealt with a ton of actual cheaters. What could’ve been 30-40 minutes to reach the lighthouse resulted in 4-5 hours to get there because of ddos or players teleporting everywhere and some even shooting through walls. You guys think pc is the only platform where cheating exist? Anyone that thinks that way clearly is not a real D1 vet, anyone that played trials back then will tell you that trials had a ton of cheaters back then. The only reason its even worse now is because the game went free to play which was the worse decision ever made, these cheaters can get banned and just make another account. This anti cheat is a joke and it cant keep up with the insane amount of hacks being sold on the internet. I highly suggest bungie gets rid of trials and comp, they should instead focus more on the pve side of things and let pvp be an arcade type of mode for anyone interested. You guys want rewards? Reset your crucible card and bungie should grant a guaranteed enhancement shard. You guys want adept version of weapons? Bungie should make a crucible quest for them, want trials looking armors and weapons? Make separate faction like dead orbit and have players pledge allegiance to them so whatever xp they earn goes toward said factions

This the biggest reason why I never made a full move to the PC version of the game. I play on Xbox, my friends are here, I made my account here back in Halo Reach and sunk ten years into it. I do complain about Bloom on console and most people say to me "Move to PC or STFU. You chose an (airquotes) [i]inferior platform[/i], so put up with inferior mechanics". Why should I move to PC, relearn how to aim with a M&K, all to have it made useless by people who refuse to play fair when I can say on my current platform and almost never deal with cheaters due to Microsoft or Sony (depending on what console you're on) acting on them and making sure they pay the price? Answer: There is no reason.

1 답변I need to agree. Situation is getting out of hand. Almost on every match I get someone with a KDA over 15 who knows exactly where my head is while running around the corner and I'm jumping. I recently returned after a break and I believe I'm going away again. Cheaters are ruining PvP even in casual playlists.

4 답변They're not going to do anything about it. Heck even the in game reporting tool is a hassle. You try to report someone and it keeps taking you out of the menu, and if don't do it while in the match you wont be able to report them.

The horrible cheating in crucible is a worse pandemic than the Coronavirus. Bungie doesn't seam to understand networking concepts enough to be able to write code that would periodically check someone's internet connection to make sure it isn't dropping packets or delaying response times to get a lagged result meaning your character does something in game, but other people see your character do something completely different because of the signal delay or lost packets. It is pretty basic code that would just run a trace route occasionally to see what your network connection is doing with their server traffic. Especially when someone reports a bad connection or cheating a simultaneous trace route should be run on their IP to see what their connection is doing.

Nobody there is going to see this mate. They just don’t care about their player base anymore. I 100% agree with you and some of that stuff has happened to me and it sucks but until they fix it, I’m sorry to say that me as well as half my friends don’t play comp anymore

1 답변iJacks you make some valid points and I agree that ever verse should be removed from this game. But Whether we wanted it or not, we’ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let’s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta’aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.
