Why would you pay for a carry? Ask around for anyone who knows someone who does them for free, a lot of the community believes in helping and not selling. Its those who sell that are usually cheaters and get the people who pay banned as well.
Post requires way more context to be understandable.
Cause comments contain descriptions of a 15 yr old boy posing as 35 that worked for Bungie that wanted to marry you and could carry you in [activity name here], but only for money. Upon said activity going wrong for the reason [x], he now refuses to refund you and threatened pedopolice threats.
What's confusing:
Why you'd trust a paid carry, how much spent.
Why did the "I work for Bungie" trick actually work
Why was the coming onto you for marriage not some crazy red flag, you only just met him.
How does a 15 yr old sound 35? This is assuming vocal communication even occurred.
How could a Bungie employee even carry you in anything when I would have at least hoped you've seen how they play the game and the unlikelihood they're good enough at it to carry.
What the activity even is.
What even went wrong, apart from failure.
How he could even threaten police over platform saved messages, he has no case, especially if he blatantly lied about his age. Can't delete those things (maybe on Steam?, but consoles definitely not). Don't forget how he doesn't have your actual name, only a username online, which if seriously reported will be taken up with the relative system publisher and messages will likely be looked at, and they'll see he's full of it. (This isn't Twitter, where only saying someone did something is all you have to do to get them in trouble)
Why you'd come here when there isn't much advice anyone can really offer you apart from: you f'ed up, there's nothing you can do, that kid is immature and can't do anything given how little of a case.
There are good and bad carry services. The inexpensive ones are the services that are likely to be a scam or not follow through. You get what you pay for.
Paying for carries is a scam, not to pour salt in the wound but buyer beware exists for a reason.
There’s nothing you can do other than learn from this experience and choose to put your money in things that are secure and aren’t shady
I recommend you watching some streamers because most do carries for just watching them. And dont do business with kids and dont pay for carries. Just take it as a lost and move on.
NEVER pay someone for a carry, things can always go south and you lose your money.
They don’t even need to help you after you pay them as it’s technically against the ToS
Actually, did you pay them with PayPal? Try contacting support and tell them you got hit by fraud.
Alternatively there SHOULD be an option to charge back.
