Destiny isn't an MMO. It's not massive, and it doesn't have basic staples of the genre:
- a half-dozen or so classes which are in themselves fully customizable
- stat-stick gear that you can play specific activities to grind
- diverse enough enemy types that each have to be dealt with their own way
- semi-frequent massive updates(not just changes and bug fixes) to parts of the game to keep up with player demands
- deep and engaging endgame content
- a simple leveling system
Destiny needs to have its own identity going forward.

"Massive" isn't even a word you can use for Destiny. Aside from the Raids and the Mindbender's Strike there's nothing that requires an excessive amount of time or players to complete. The Seraph Towers were something you needed a ton of people to complete, but people hated it because they couldn't matchmake into it(also cuz it was boring). Every piece of content in this game is minute-made for minutes of play.

First off I’m gonna call bs on that “million players daily” seeing as it’s common for player numbers to drop so low that the trackers get shut off, I believe by bungie’s demand. Second off, what he means my massive is probably content. Tons of weapons, armor, classes, perks, Giant maps, etc. Destiny 2 I will admit might have the armor, weapons (although most are reskins), and maybe perks down but I’d have to say they lack in everything else.

In order for it to actually go forward, this is not the company that can do that. Activision leaving done a lot more harm to the game being that this company is too small to be having three projects going, and the new one is there priority.

Not what I mean. The leveling system isn't supposed to be complex. Rather than just having a regular leveling system, Destiny 2 has: - Light Level(of which is theoretically infinite) - Season Pass Level(of which there's 100 levels) - Seasonal Artifact(of which there's a number of upgrades, only twelve of which you can purchase) - Armor stats(of which there are 6 that range from 0-100 and there's no way to upgrade individual stats outside of mods) - Crucible Valor and Glory Ranks(of which there's 2100 points and 5500 respectively, each with a number of ranks that I can't name off the top of my head) - Gambit Infamy ranks(of which there's... idek how many points you can get) - Triumph Score(which means ultimately nothing) - Each season there's an object which you can level up using the Seasonal Materials - Mod Unlocks - Weapon Masterworking - ARMOR masterworking - Vendor Rank ups(of which there's no set amount but you use in-game items to get more gear)

DAMN Bungie gonna show me their MMO with an engine that is made out of marshmallows and toothpicks? Public spaces with only 9 people MMO my arse omegalul. Social Space with only 24 people with very little communication methods and 'Social Space' is a funny term considering it is literally the complete opposite of what the name entails.
