Any Ideas on how or if we Ever Deal With the Vex?
A few days ago I was brushing up on my lore with the Vex, and while I know we already have an idea of how the Hive and Taken will be defeated, I'm still trying to figure on how or if we plan to defeat the Vex. We've only scraped the surface on how large their forces are or how advanced their technology is despite having a good chunk of knowledge of their history. We've yet to see their elusive combat frames despite having conquered the Vault of Glass and Infinite Forest (mostly), nor have they made any bold movements since the Sol Divisive trying to take over the Moon (and failing).
With how hyped up their strength is, being second only to the Taken when Oryx was still around, just how to we plan to deal with them when the time comes?

Their only real strength is the time spanning they do. But that relies on the Vault, something they made. So their time spanning isn’t unstoppable. Destroy it and they lose that advantage and it becomes much easier to deal with them.

19 답변The Vex are likely the only enemy we can’t defeat. The Fallen are limited. The Cabal are limited. The Hive are limited and by extension so too are the Taken. The Vex don’t have any perceivable end. The only thing that came close was the Network being assimilated by the Taken during the Taken War, which we prevented.

1 답변If the robots they send to deal with everything can be destroyed faster than light, we have nothing to worry about. The strongest robots they have are always locked to certain locations. Hydras are basically their best robots that aren't mini-bosses, and I can obliterate one with just two grenade launcher shots.

3 답변Many people here think that hive gods are the strongest of the 4 races but i would argue that it’s the vex. I believe we only scratched the surface. people do say oryx won against them but he just defeated quira and gifted him to savathun. Quira powers were only similar to atheon, this means he is one of the lower minds. I believe we end vex by erasing the black garden completely.

The sheer amount of vex units the radiolaria on Nessus alone could make would easily be enough to overwhelm anything we could throw at it, bar some Traveler magic nonsense. How do you defeat large bodies of sentient liquid?

From my understanding I believe that the vex want to "rid" the universe of the light and dark, putting them back in a stalemate or extinguishing them completely. The darkness could attack them for us, but I don't think they are too much of a threat to them yet. We might see some stuff with them on Europa. My best bet on how we "deal" with the vex is going through each timeline and point in time and wiping the minds.

4 답변<Either we find a central (like, actually central) Mind and kill it, or the Darkness starts disabling the Network. Otherwise, we're kinda -blam!-ed after this is all over, but given their rate of conversion, we'll likely be long gone before Convergence is achieved.>
