This is a message from the player base to Bungie. They want to play the new content when it comes out. They want to play the dungeon and heroic Contact. That requires a higher light level. Can you really blame them for not wanting do the same old boring dull grind that we've done for YEARS? I sure don't.
It's a mistake to gate new content, like the dungeon, behind power levels. Power progression is not interesting and it's NOT rewarding. Long time players get no satisfaction at all from leveling up. It's a chore, not a feature.
When a new season opens up, the last thing I want to do is play Gambit, Flashpoints, and any of the usual suspects that I had done forever to level up.

2 답변Also a message to us about who they listen to and the only opinions they feel matter........ Yesterday, multiple free advertisers.... ahem, streamers and youtubers cried like children running to mommy about the “scumbags” AFKing forges (hilarious who that comment came from, since his clan is the guiltiest of cheesing and exploiting the most).... and then a day later, suddenly hotfix. Forge AFK farming has been a known exploit for 2 years, commented on and ignored by Bungie for years. But suddenly, their lap dogs cry and it’s an instant fix... Hey ir(redeem)able Sweat, pull up you Khackees.... I’d be Glad, if you’d cry to Bungie about things that are actually broken, not just stuff when it hurts your fragile egos and your power gated exclusivity clubs

Honestly they could do away with light levels entirely without much trouble. Imo it would drastically improve the game. 90% of why people play is to enjoy the content and get stat rolls on gear that suit their playstyle. What makes the game fun if playing with your friends in any content. Be it challenging raids, dungeons or strikes. That's why you raised the minimum light level to 750 so new players are not gated out of content. Right now you are gating out any new player that came in the last week. Convincing someone to play D2 then having them come in and have to grind for three months to catch the tail end of the content is not fun.

5 답변작성자: pacificdune 6/15/2020 10:18:57 PMI think the pendulum has shifted to too much grind. I used to be a high level player who would clear raids on the first day. Last season I didn’t even do a grand master nightfall because I was unable to play enough to level to 1025. I would have liked to, but not enough time.

3 답변작성자: thatdudeEd54 6/15/2020 11:18:13 PMJust saying.....most of us will be pretty close above 1040 after 2-3 weeks. Trust me players will have enough time play all the content they bring out.

2 답변Sometimes i wish, you could stand beside yourself and listen to all the crap, that comes out of your mouths. Its that easy: You have fun and play the game or you stop playing this game and do another one. Exploiting the game at the cost of others experience is just so egoistic, i want to puke... And stop saying that its not affecting the gameplay of the legit players. Not a single forge run in the last 48 hours worked for me, because of those s... lazy people, who now really think they can blame bungie for their behaviour. As someone else already mentioned: Very "trumpish". If you are so upset about the content, you definitely had enough and should play another game. I myself will enjoy leveling up the "normal way". If that means i can only play this seasons new content in the next season...hey, more fun in autumn....

Agreed! It is time for Bungie to do something about this. It's long overdue! We have been leveling up in old content doing the same mundane, tedious, tasks we've been playing for years just to play the new stuff! Bungie, please look into this and figure out a better alternative or solution.

4 답변With sunsetting and content vaulting - gotta get paid guardians. Umbral engram farming is the most Drifter s*** ever.

1 답변They just implemented a change where players return to orbit after they complete a forge. Bungie can fix stuff like this but can't fix trials quick. Anything that benefits the players they can fix asap lol

I did it in protest for you guys.....lul🙄. Nah I'm doing it to test out the RNG and light level bumps.....it's ass so far. Holy shit why do people play this game to grind light level? Bungie just needs to do away with the bullshit light level grind.

2 답변It's cheating and it's weak as hell. Bungie won't ban you but I sure will judge you. Ya suck

작성자: AlexFi1978 6/15/2020 11:47:33 PMI have no problem with it (power level grind) as it’s something to work towards and last night finished prophecy at 1048 - yes it’s a grind but as there was a reason to I didn’t mind, although it would be good if new more interesting methods of grinding that initial power were added or used to replace the old existing ones. The AFK stuff is just plain stupid and anyone doing it should be banned as it’s ruining a mode for other people actually wanting to do that content. Have never AFK’d and never would, prefer to know what I’ve got I earned by playing and not exploiting.

32 답변It’s not a message it’s just pathetic, it is clearly separating the two kinds of people who play this game, ones who cannot be bothered to grind but still want all the good stuff and the ones who put the work in for the rewards. Don’t delude yourself that this is anything other then a bunch of losers jumping on a bandwagon and exploiting a glitch. I got all three of my characters levelled up super quick and easy the legit way, there is no need for this. Destiny is a looter shooter, it’s about playing content levelling up to play other content and eventually getting to pinnacle content. If you don’t like that system then don’t play the game.

The way I see it leveling up is just a part of playing the game. Granted it may be a pretty boring part, but it is still part of the game. If you don’t like certain parts of the game then just play the parts you like and you’ll still level. It’ll go slower for sure but you can still do it. If the difficulty for stuff like new dungeons was lowered then we’d probably finish it really easy and everyone go back to complaining that there’s no content. Also afk farming doesn’t do anything to bungie it just screws your own teammates

I’ve said this many times Make any legendary drop a powerful one. That way you can grind whatever activity you want and gear up how you want. They could keep their whole entire tier 1 tier 2 power drop thing, and their pinnacle drop thing But anytime you get a legendary, it should be a powerful drop. That way they can make the new seasonal power cap as high or as low as they want. And all they would have to do is change certain activities to power tier 1 or tier 2 or make a tier 3 drop And make the BRAND NEW content drop pinnacle rewards This would solve so many issues for the players, and for them. Gives then a way to adjust power drops when activities get old, and the newer ones that haven’t been played for years can drop higher power And the brand new activities can be more rewarding.
