AFK farming is a message to Bungie
This is a message from the player base to Bungie. They want to play the new content when it comes out. They want to play the dungeon and heroic Contact. That requires a higher light level. Can you really blame them for not wanting do the same old boring dull grind that we've done for YEARS? I sure don't.
It's a mistake to gate new content, like the dungeon, behind power levels. Power progression is not interesting and it's NOT rewarding. Long time players get no satisfaction at all from leveling up. It's a chore, not a feature.
When a new season opens up, the last thing I want to do is play Gambit, Flashpoints, and any of the usual suspects that I had done forever to level up.

2 답변Pretty sure they fixed it (or it's only in bergusia forge) since me and my friends have been getting booted out to orbit every run and nobody was doing the activity.

I don’t think AFK farming is cheating, many of us have lives and cannot put the time into all the farming Destiny demands so having AFK activities allow more casual players a way to lvl up when we can’t play. Not all of us are streamers that play all day for a living.

It's the same thing that happened with the chest exploit in faction rally. Most people would rather play the game, even replay things they've done to death, than just go back and forth through a loading point to open the same chest. But when the ask of the grind is too much people are going to end up cheesing it. Bungle refuses to hear the message that there's too much repetitive tedium for too little progress, and that most players do not want to do the shit Bungle asks of them.

Well I'm still at 950 probably going to stay there They create content no one can play Till you grind the same ole sh.t For a month I missed the afk well missed destiny itself really. I don't blame anyone using afk To get past that boring grind fest They patched it anyway. Well just wait for the next glitch.

Bungie should suspend all this afk'er for at least 2 weeks and set the light kevel back to day 0 of the season of arrival. flame me as much as you want, i will state on this forum how ignorrant you're for doing it.

Message? Most people do it and grind the levels a fk is just good to do when you can’t play the game. Only a ignorant person would do it when they want to play the game. The rage nightmare hunt farm is 100x faster then a f k plus with guarantee loot at the end with prime engrams, levels, bounty progression, etc. You seem like you’re taking a common gaming practice as turn into some type cringy nerd protest.

Fully agree. Can't stand the fact a lot of players that stuck with this shit franchise, spend hundreds of hours to reach the power they are at. But then here comes bungie, catering to newbie players and giving them a 1000 power out the gate. The -blam!-? Make them start at zero and work their way up like we all had to. Let's see if anyone can stick with the game start to finish from 0 to 1000+ that never touched this game. Those people will quickly realize how many idiots there are in this world that stuck with it. Myself included..

Yeah well maybe the game isn’t just about you. I still do forges to farm for god rolls and others are still trying to get the ship and we don’t need a bunch of afk tools ruining the game. Instead of being a total moron and loading into games afk go play a different game.

Today i finished my first prophecy dungeon, VERY underlevel. 1032. And i did it. I was carried? A little bit. How i felt? Effing happy. I wont judge you for using the exploit. I just want to say why i will no use it. (Srry if the english is broken, is not my first language)

2 답변Bungie does a lot of dumb-ass things, considering they have a literal hoard of information to make decisions by. They also do a lot of dumb-ass things that no-one ever, ever, talked about. that'd be fine, if only they did something with the feedback that lotsa people talk about. What's the average light level? How many play dungeons? How many play raids? How many play Strikes? How many abandon Quests when a Crucible necessity comes up? (My favourite.) How many hours is the average? What guns are never used? Jeez, it goes on and on. A comment later in this thread said most players will be 1040 in 2 weeks. I doubt it, but he does not know, and I do not know, but Bungie does. I challenged Cozmo to release some stats a while back. Crickets!

Yesterday, multiple free advertisers.... ahem, streamers and youtubers cried like children running to mommy about the “scumbags” AFKing forges (hilarious who that comment came from, since his clan is the guiltiest of cheesing and exploiting the most).... and then a day later, suddenly hotfix. Forge AFK farming has been a known exploit for 2 years, commented on and ignored by Bungie for years. But suddenly, their lap dogs cry and it’s an instant fix... Hey ir(redeem)able Sweat, pull up you Khackees.... I’d be Glad, if you’d cry to Bungie about things that are actually broken, not just stuff when it hurts your fragile egos and your power gated exclusivity clubs
