This is a message from the player base to Bungie. They want to play the new content when it comes out. They want to play the dungeon and heroic Contact. That requires a higher light level. Can you really blame them for not wanting do the same old boring dull grind that we've done for YEARS? I sure don't.
It's a mistake to gate new content, like the dungeon, behind power levels. Power progression is not interesting and it's NOT rewarding. Long time players get no satisfaction at all from leveling up. It's a chore, not a feature.
When a new season opens up, the last thing I want to do is play Gambit, Flashpoints, and any of the usual suspects that I had done forever to level up.

작성자: Crota bin Oryx 6/15/2020 11:08:53 PMDont worry, they have partially fixed it now because all the streamers and carry services have caught up with with the mindless and power level requirements. Ironically, the community had been asking for this auto start of forge to be disabled since it was first released. Just shows you the quality thinking that goes behind the evaluation of our feedback from any forum (reddit, Twitter, these forums etc.)

If your going to release content that's high power LVL to complete on the same day of release ppl will do what ever they can to get to that lvl. Afk farming is wrong and shouldn't be the solution to leveling up to get to play the new content. I feel bad for ppl that do this this early and then complain later that there is nothing to do cause they forgot that this is a game and ment to be played to enjoy not turn into another job or chore. If I don't get to complete it this week then oh well. Grinding has been clearly a waste of time when they are subsetting weapons and gear. It's a game, play as you want but have fun playing don't complain later when there isn't anything to do cause you rushed things the first 2 weeks.

3 답변For me, the big issue isn't the monotonous grinding for power, but rather the limited number of powerful drops. This game still suffers from "Done all my weeklies on Tuesday. What do I do the rest of the week?"-syndrome. The odd prime engram/exotic drop isn't enough to offset the feeling of knowing that every other drop will be useless. A simple fix would be to just add a chance to get +1 from any world drop. It's not a lot, but it would help knowing that the next thing I pick up could actually serve some purpose.

12 답변Speak for yourself blade329. I've played this since D1 day 1, and to me levelling up is the best part of any season. Modern life has programmed people to want EVERYTHING and everything NOW. Destiny is fundamentally a hard grind and collect loot game....nothing else, and although it can be monotonous and repetitive, it is what it is and always has been, and it's my type of game. It is far from perfect, but if you don't want a game you have to work at...don't play it. If you have other commitments and can't put the time in...it's not the game for you. If you have to cheat in PvP to because you can't face losing, or if you have to cheese your way through levelling without any effort whatsoever....play something else. Bungie have shot themselves in the foot by setting up season passes and free to play and all the other bs stuff that the game cannot handle because of the outdated servers and engines...it's broken. All this to try to please everyone, vets and newcomers, and it's not working. But I still enjoy playing it for all its faults because it's my type of game. If it was causing me so much grief, I'd just uninstall it.

3 답변What I don't understand is that if the game is that boring or tedious to play that you are willing to AFK farm, why not drop the game completely? Find another game you do find enjoyable to play instead? The writing is on the wall, isn't it?

If you want an easy solution just increase the experience rate of all activities in an event or something the experience rate that we get now is so low because of the reason we gonna lose it again when the next season arrive The very least bungie can do is just to make the grind as painless as possible

I'm fine being power gated as long as there's new stuff to do that gives power. I don't want to have to grind crucible, strikes and gambit anymore. Taken King and Forsaken did this well; multiple tiers for Court of Oryx/Blind Well, Ascendant challenges in Forsaken, bunch of stuff in the Dreadnaught patrol for Taken King.

3 답변You couldn't be more wrong. A few days of legitimate grinding and you're at a decent level. Quit asking to be handed everything, earn it.

12 답변They won't patch the exploit. The exploit is there to get people to buy the season pass. It only works if you have access to that thing in drifter's area to use the umbrella corp engrams or whatever they're called. - Add a "free" dungeon. - Raise the light level by 60. - Piss everyone off. - Setup an exploit on the forges where you need the season pass to do it. - Players will buy the season pass to use the exploit to skip the boring light level grind. - Profit #sunsetLuke

Thats one of the reasons i don't play this sh*tshow anymore. And its way to cartoonish since the start of d2. My son still plays some pvp to help some friends but when i ask if he enjoys it still he just looks at me and walks away with his head shaking. f*ck this fomo sh*t, bugs p2p you name it. Forums are a lot more fun these days.

Bungie needs to stop with this constant grind bull-s to level up it kills the interest of players and leads to problems like this where if theres an exploit you better believe it will be exploited even if it ruins the experience for others.

Personally, I think the whole power level grind is terrible, and don't even get me started on the pinnacle cap. Literally the only point to it is to block you from playing content. I am tired of leveling up every 3 months just so I can play the temporary seasonal content. It just makes me not care to even play.

1 답변10 years from now, friends will ask me: "Describe the game called Destiny?" Me: "It's a game about Bounties?. . . . . . That's all I can remember."
