AFK’ing forges (venting)
Before it’s commented I and everyone else who tired of this are well aware this app and others have LFG but it’s not the point. If you want to get higher power grind like the rest of us or go play something else, the forge is a 2-3 player activity not solo and it’s not designed for you to stand there while other people do the work and you get upgrades. If bungie has sense everyone who’s been afk’ing for gear will be temp-banned and nerfed back to 750 power or at least just nerfed down because they deserve the ban but second chances never hurt...to anyone who is afk rest assured I am reporting you every time I come across you and you aren’t getting s**t off of my back if you afk a forge I’m in I’ll lead thing to kill you and just leave you down if two people are afk I just let the clock run down while I kill stuff to prolong you getting nothing 👍 hopefully bungie will fix this soon because right now the forge is practically unplayable without a few lucky charms and a few decent guardians.

If there are people who are legitimately doing the forges for bounties or for the exotic weapons, and so forth, and there are others afking, this affects their ability to play the game as it is intended to be played. Yes, they could just return to orbit, but why should they have to? I haven’t done any afking and just played as I usually do and I’m already pretty close to 1040 🤷🏻♂️

You would not complete the activity to hurt others? Why don't you just... Do you? That is complete the activity regardless of others participation to get what you want faster? Ooooohhh! Its because you CANT do the forges solo! Maybe when you can rep a BLACKSMITH title you won't need to worry so much about others are doing in an activity that's years old. Maybe when your as ill as this you can solo flawless anything instead of complaining other people won't carry you. "Boo-hoo I suck and other people won't help me." 14 답변1st off you CANT blame the D2 community for taking advantage of something Even the most popular twitch streamers are doing this along with 60% of the player base so either you can 1. Suck it up and deal with it and you can’t get banned for this because no one is “Cheating” I’m not installing a macro I’m not pressing any special button I click forge activity set down my controller and watch the rewards roll in If bungie reset everyone who did this back to 750 that would quite literally ruin the season for everyone who did this Also just do a LFG if you’re so butt hurt about people doing this you can do it too unless you care so much about your pathetic pride Conclusion this CANNOT get you banned it is not a GLITCH it is a EXPLOIT you won’t get anywhere reporting people so grab a Kleenex and go cry yourself to sleep and while I’m sleeping I’ll be getting free engrams have a nice day clown

I’m sure you pushed Atheon and the Templar of the edge. I’m sure you Made the enemies disappear in leviathan I’m sure you’ve Riven sword cheese’d I’m sure you’ve dispelled your voltaic charge by joining allies. I’m sure you at some point used a glitch or played the game in a way that Bungie didn’t intend. These are things that happen and people exploit them. Bungie even later acknowledges them with a quest that required you to push the boss of the edge to complete. Adding A scannable to the loot cave that says “a million deaths are not enough for master Rahoul”. So get off your high horse and soapbox. If you haven’t done any of these things then most likely you are a filthy casual and have no voice here anyway 😂😂😂😂

1 답변One statement and one question. Bungie has already said they won't ban people for exploits due to their own mistakes or oversight. Really curious- are you being matched with sub-750 players? Or are there some people in higher armor still trying to do this?

Wouldnt have to exploit of bungie created content for players to enjoy as soon as the season starts now slap a 30 level onto the activity to force players to do the same old activities they've been doing for 3 years. Say that eventually all the gear is going to be unsettled regardless at some point so why should I pay the hamster wheel game when I can exploit them as much as they exploit us half the time.

3 답변I tried 4 attempts to forge a weapon and each time there was an afk ruining it. Why? Are they shooting for a number of forge attempts triumph? It stops everything and nothing is gained.

From my understanding farming forges is done by dropping your light level to the lowest it can go and going in AFK. Has this changed? If not, then you wont matchmake with these people unless you are similar light level. That being the case........ yeah, im sure you can figure it out.

1 답변Most are matchmaking at below 750 lvl so if you are encountering some dumb people who aren’t doing that then sorry about that but that does not affect all of us. We would grind our lvl legitimately but there are no good farming options so we go with this one.
