Do people actually think Bungie is going to die as a studio?
They got a crispy Fall expansion in the oven that someone actually set a timer for this time. That way it likely won't come out half baked. Not saying it doesn't have the possibility of being bad. But this is something Bungie has been teasing us with for years. It's gonna be one of them big BOI expansions.
Just because people are mad about not being able to use mountaintop and recluse forever, and because they will have to wait 5 more seconds from their grenade doesn't mean that Bungie is dying.

Honestly I saw a streamer sum up D2 in a nutshell (for the moment I hope anyways) "you know I will be back next expansion because im addicted" its sad that you have to be "addicted" in a sense of, "maybe the next expansion will do good" kind of way. I have high hopes for next season and the next expansion but honestly I am getting frustrated with this seasonal thing. I am one of those people that would like to just play story at my own pace. Not wait week after week just to HOPE I get something else to do (looking at you season of the we forgot the Almighty existed.) Yeesh ranted a bit. All in all I hope Bungie can succeed but we will have to wait and see.

I honestly don't understand how some people enjoy playing a grind simulator 24/7. You don't have to be addicted to this game. You can just enjoy it while the content is fun. Most of my time playing is spent during the fall. Then for the rest of the year I check back in every once in awhile to play some crucible with friends. Because good lord is crucible in this game fun. People need to take a break. Play some indie games. And do something else with their time. People shouldn't expect a game they play 2 hours a day religiously to always provide them with content. It's ridiculous.

It’s the gunplay that gets me, Bungie has always nailed their gunplay to the point it is intoxicating. I don’t play shooters much anymore but when I do I hop on Destiny and go into the Crucible or occasionally shoot some space baddies.

I enjoy D2 for the story. So sometimes I have to grind a stupid amount. I do it to get the story, it doesnt make it fun in the slightest, in fact I wish there was way less and I hope there will be. I play because I still hope the game can succeed. Others play because of fear of losing a universe they loved for so long. (I am also one of those people I fear thing wont go over well and I love the Destiny Universe.)
