28 답변작성자: Galactic Zones 5/25/2020 6:35:30 AMDestiny 2: - Ledge grabbing so jumping/platforming is a bit easier. - More varied public events in patrol zones. - 6 man match-made activities like Menagerie / Sundial. A welcome addition. - You don't have to go to orbit to pick a new location on the map. - You have multiple landing zones on some of the planets for easier navigation. Destiny 1: - Actual DLC's with story content instead of seasonal passes with 'checklist' quests (the content between expansions not the expansions themselves). - We as guardians felt powerful - Skill trees for subclasses so you could have the build you wanted. - Less time-gated "FOMO" content. You could play the content more at your own pace. - Better looking armor - Raids, particularly the early raids were accessible for newer players. - Raid exclusive gear having perks which are relevant to that specific raid. - Factions, with rankups and cool weapons - You could play any game mode you wanted and still rank up / get good gear. - You could reach max power (apart from 'Forever 29' early on) without need of relying on special engrams dropping a couple of times a week. - Normal strikes were actually worth playing - not so hostile towards solo players - Less Eververse - Armsday - PvP maps on the whole were more suited to 6v6. - You could play any story mission any time you wanted. - Better contrasts with graphics. More use of light and shadow. - You don't spend hours loading into the tower. - better soundtrack So yeah on balance, D1 for me was better. If they could combine the good parts of D2 with D1 the game would be much improved.

2 답변I went back and played D1, it was fun and the music was great especially the SIVA strikes but D2 does have ALOT of quality of life stuff. The never expiring bounties and weapon vendors were awesome though. Oh yeah and heavy ammo synths.

작성자: blade329 5/26/2020 3:48:20 PMIn many ways, Destiny 1 is STILL better. Definitely better when it comes to the Crucible. That's why I stil play it. Skill trees are better, grenades are more powerful, console graphics are cleaner, weapons feel better, hand cannons work better, better maps that actually ARE designed to work with 6v6, etc. It's also easier to see your opponents, as their health bars don't mysteriously disappear for no reason, like they do in D2. It's hands down a superior experience. I did a strike on D1 a few weeks back. Yeah, they are superior to D2. I had a great time. It reminded me of the thrill of getting Strike specific loot. That's back when the game had great rewards. Factions, ranking, vendors and rewards? Yeah, D2 is TERRIBLE in this area.

1 답변작성자: JazzyPaladin477 5/24/2020 1:54:18 PMLooking back, Destiny was 3 years of mostly highs with a few big lows, destiny 2 was 3 years of “WTF are they even doing?” with a few highs (dungeons and quests). Year 4 continues down the WTF road, swerving wildly back and forth between go-fast and go-slow lines as the different personas of bungie’s multiple personality disorder fight for control.

8 답변작성자: Demon_XXVII 5/24/2020 5:05:40 PMDestiny 1 had 7-10 years in development/concept/premise & a far better Bungie Studio (remember that this was nearly two console generations ago) Go back, see how many weapons there are to still choose from, exotics that I’ve never found, faction gear, raid styles/loot, bigger PvP maps, gun play still crispy ....even if they’ve dumbed down the PvE AI Destiny 2 was built by a very different Bungie, with an Eververse/micro transaction system & ‘esport’ (recall the 4vs4 PvP), the atrocity that was Faction Rallies etc....with the D2 vanilla emphasis on attracting the younger gamer (with its brighter cartoon style graphics & colours - admittedly it’s not Mario 😆) & the dialogue which summed it all up with the line: “Xol - "That's the most powerful thing I've ever seen." It’s been 3.5 years & in that time D2 has actually gone 1 step forward (Forsaken) & 4 backwards (ShadowKeep & 3 Seasonal DLC’s) & a beetle infestation

Both games have pros and cons.... Just my opinion not everyone's..... I prefer the look of D1 armor and weapons.....D2 for myself has a power rangers look to it... Strikes in D1 are still better and better rewards..... D2 has more fireteam activities even though I do enjoy PoE in D1.... Public events don't make or break the game between the 2 games....but the taken public events in D1 that spawn around regular public events was a great way to farm exotics with 3 of coins... Factions and armsday are better in D1 , D2 armsday is just more bounties.... D2 has the advantage of going to the tower without going to orbit first..... Please remember this is just my opinion not everyone's.....

2 답변작성자: Guardian, Archon Of Light 5/25/2020 3:03:18 AMUpvote It’s not just nostalgia that makes it better,it’s simply more fun less grind and here is why -The raids are better, with challenging but simple mechanics, you don’t have to solve physics puzzles with 5 strangers in D1. The mechanics are easily explained, even KingsFall. And most of the time people are chill because there is less pressure to be perfect -The Armor is miles ahead of D2, even the armor you get from the Rise Of Iron book is badass with the ornaments. There is nothing in D2 that can compare with the Age Of Triumph raid sets or the Iron Lord armor ,or the old iron banner gear. Even the normal vendor gear is better -The Guns Are Better,we have perks like firefly and cursed thrall explosion among many others that make guns fun to use,the live team didn’t care about “Power Creep” more power=more fun ,While luke smith was making the boring turd called D2,the live team was a skeleton crew of heroes making Destiny a playground. Every weapon in D1 has a god roll to chase with a deep pool of perks to draw from. And I don’t have to bring up the raid weapons,Fatebringer and Steel Medula need I say more -Factions.Something Luke smith doesn’t think we need ,but we have them in D1, and they matter, and have different weapon rolls each week, and when you hit rank 25 you get an exotic class item that makes getting faction packages quicker D2 was fun during Forsaken, but luke smith has turned it back to vanilla, his original vision for the franchise, static weapons and space hamsters for enemies,D2 has no soul or spirit or charm

1 답변I agree with this sentiment. And as primarily a PvP player, I have never found any D2 Crucible mode to be as much fun as Combined Arms. (And, no, I never used a long rifle in that game type - just a Suros DIS 43 scout with an SPO-28 diamond sight.)

By the time Age of Triumph rolled around, definitely. D2 and it's grind is a confusing mass that never ends, particularly with the seasonal model. You grind bounties for ages for one weapon that will soon become irrelevant. That used to be the case in D1 sure, but with Age of Triumph it was changed. All of the content made before that point was made relevant, complete with new armour customisations that looked awesome. Even despite the whole exotic elementals thing, the raid loot was much more unique and worth grinding for, as opposed to a lot of D2 raid loot. Strikes were relevant, Crucible was relevant, PoE was relevant, exotic quests were relevant, all raids were relevant. They basically opened the entire game up for people to revisit all of the content they loved and complete their collections, with Moments of Triumph helping spur that along. D2 is still actively making content irrelevant at the moment.

7 답변작성자: Yosemite Sam 5/24/2020 6:51:53 PMhttps://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/256123397?sort=0&page=0 I'll say it is in meaningful ways that are the most important things that made the first game fun. This game was a downgrade from that. Edit: What destiny two reminds me of is the movies that you should never create a sequel using a different director nor actors that 9 times out of 10 a sequel never turns out to be that good as the first one. What gets me is, some directors think it's a good idea to create a 3rd one that you just end up going to the red box when you feel bored and there is nothing new that came out to watch. I think it's funny how some feel threatened that they "need to post" to try to shut the post down 🤦♂️
