And when everyone realizes there's no point in bothering, it'll further expose the lack of content in the game. Weapon collecting was the only reason most people played whether they admit it or not.

They created this "power creep" problem by wanting to have all content relevant always, and making power useless to older content, so to get a feel of progress we gotten slightly better weapons & armors over the years. Instead of fighting increasingly stronger enemies everything is always stays on a baseline, being lower power is the only thing that can temporally offset that baseline and give a fake progression feel. With this they will make how power works even worse, having to use newer weapons to avoid penalty's because that's how power works in this game.

I doubt Bungie will have made enough guns and armors to replace our current by Year 4. I'm sure the majority of the "new" armor are reissues.

If it takes you 6 months then you only get 6 months with it infusible.
