When you dismantle/turn into an ornament/etc, you get all the materials you infused into it. Maybe not all of them but a portion and the exotic final piece guaranteed. I don't want to have to grind and grind again and again to have to masterwork these new sets of weapons and armor every year I love my midnight coup I love the armor i have grinded for to get my (worst stat ever) 107 resilience I love the guns i use and i understand the need to sunset them But if i have to reinvest every material again and again to go into the higher level activities to put the mods in every time, or max out the masterwork of weapons every time to make them the best they can be, while also grinding for the materials to do so, i wont its just that simple, i don't have the time with a 40 hour work week (not now due to covid mind you) to simply sit there and grind materials in hour long grugdes through nightfalls to get the exotic materials to max them out. Or the orange shards to turn into that exotic item, or etc etc
