Bungie responds to contrived ‘kamikazee’ controversy but silent on matters of substance. TWAB is disconcerting - phasing out our gear due to lack of ingenuity
Also- RE the seraph towers, buffed or not- I’m not spending a single second playing your asinine, recursive content.
Edit- Before I get criticized by the sycophants for not offering any viable solutions to the topical issue of ‘power creep’; I say- give us a REASON to want to use novel gear over legacy gear..a good example is the shift to the armor 2.0 model. Give us weapon 2.0- new mods that are more compelling and offer better synergies that only slot in season 11+ gear.
Edit 2- updating title due to the asinine pandering from Dmg 04 (aka chief snowflake) on legitimately one of the most inane topics I’ve seen on any platform. Bravo.

Thanks, Bungie. Oh but Last Wish and Garden weapons get a pass? What about Scourge and Crown? Hello? Not even consistent in their exceptions? Well guys, it's been fun. No more Erentils, no more Luna's or Not Forgottens, no more Hammerheads or Blast Furnaces, no more Revokers or Beloveds, no more Recluses, no more Mountaintops, no more Galliards, no more Dust Rocks or Mindbenders... etc. Holy hell.

1 답변One thing I keep seeing coming up, is people some how think Bungie is going to come up with all these new weapons to chase. Don't any of you get it by now after all these years Bungie makes the same mistakes over and over again. Your going to end up with the same weapons anyways. They will just look different, maybe with different mods. I yet to have seen a better perk combo than rampage and outlaw. We are still getting reskins or the exact weapons from D1. And all of you think they will make new weapons. Ha ha 🤣

So quit. Stop talking about all this. Stop giving them attention. Just walk away....thr more of us that just walk away the better it'll be for you. Imagine beinf able to just chill and play different games you've shelved. Let them circle the drain. Let the Kool Aid drinkers follow them all the way to a Jonestown of horrible horde mode activities and bounties/"objectives" Some are too far gone to see outside themselves as it pertains to this game. Don't be one of them.

I say we all rebel and go to seraph towers and throw. Pick up as many balls as possible and chuck them into the ground. Render it undoable. People will leave or give up, then have to try and recue then get tired of trying to find groups and give up. LOL

This is a -blam!-ing dumb idea and it didn't work in d1 due to the fact the vanilla guns were crap. With TTK they added great guns and rehashed old ones... And ended up adding them back in later years... Behind a pay wall. Bungie needs to listen to the actual fans and not streamers and content creators who have their nose so far up their arse they can see what they ate. I hope bungie realises this is a dumb idea and a bad move... HOWEVER this isn't going to happen because bungie clearly doesn't care.

They arent out of ideas, this is how they can keep you logging in and grinding. There will be no more effort put into trying to make this game fun, or creative, or rewarding, they have adopted the mobile model and are only interested in implementing things into the game that keep you grinding away.

6 답변Has anyone actually looked at the makeup of the weapon population that will be sunset? It's massive. I'm not here to complain about loosing a specific weapon.. I've played through scout metas, SMG metas, etc. I can live with loosing old weapons if there will be new interesting things to grind for.. But, I have no faith that Bungie will deliver. As an example. I don't think there's been a 90RPM Sniper released past season 8. In fact there's only been a couple snipers total. I don't believe there's been a Heavy GL at all either. Or any swords. All those sub classes will be sunset with no new options to play with. Sure, I can take my 1020 legacy weapon into a 1040 event, but within a season or two they won't be viable for most content.. There are 2 possible explanations. Over the next season or two, 1) Bungie has something awesome planned for the new year and we'll all be blown away by the new weapons that are available to us. There'll be a new heavy GL to grind for, a new shotgun, a couple new snipers, including a 90.. Maybe even a sword or two. We'll have cool new toys to play with and the game will be fun again. or, 2) This is another poorly thought out plan to make it easier to deliver tepid content and a few new boring weapons, while recycling more leftover story fragments from previous seasons and selling stuff through eververse. We will have a very limited selection of viable weapons, and all the old Boss and PVE mechanics that were built to stop guardians rocking damage buffs, pre-nerf Lunas, Mountaintops, GLs, and recluses. The grind will be long and progressively more miserable, just like it has been for the last 3 seasons, but we won't have a few OP weapons to help take the edge off. I'd like to think it's 1. but Bungie's track record over the past few seasons makes it hard to believe it's anything but 2. Please prove me wrong Bungie.

3 답변It's been 8 months and the 3 newest strikes still don't have emblems or loot. Does anyone actually think Bungie can rotate hundreds of pieces of gear over the course of a year? Today people generally run the same 20-30 pieces because that's what a good - next year people will be running the same 20-30 pieces because that's all that Bungie will be able to muster up capable of future-max power.

7 답변I have no reason to grind for fellwinters lie, so I won't. A short life span for a recycled gun. I have no reason to buy season 11. It will be as good as season 10 or possibly worse, so I won't buy it. Bungie has nothing but contempt for veteran players. How can they expect anything short of disdain from us? Bungie does not deserve success, utter incompetence should have a short shelf life.

3 답변Sunsetting means they want to make the guardians uniform - wear the same armor and use the same weapons - like a fascist rule. There will no longer be any diversity or individuality, only conformity and singularity. I refuse to partake in this oppression of our freedom to play as we want, with the armor we want and the weapons we want.

8 답변As I've written before: There is a lot of "do's" and "don'ts" in the gaming industry (or any industry for that matter). Bungie keeps skipping the "do's" to wholeheartedly jump into and work on the "dont's". It is like Bungie are actively trying to get people abandon this game, so they can quit working on it. There have been so many stupid decisions this last year, so many bugs, and so much complaint. The complaints haven't gone unnoticed from Bungie, yet things are only getting worse.

Bungie - “We hear you” Were it not for the pandemic and me sitting my ass at home, I never would’ve picked D2 back up. To have a grind is one thing. To say that weapons and armor have a shelf life after the grinding to get them is just crap. What’s the point of even going after it then if that is going to be the case? Dove back into Halo recently and it is amazing how much fun I had in multiplayer just after 5 or so matches (even with getting my ass whooped).

I suggest going back to the concept of set bonuses and have future gear sets hold set bonuses that encourage you to use new pieces of the sets. You could still use the legacy weapons, but you’ll sacrifice the bonuses of things like increased ammo spawns or reduced damage from X enemy.

Agree. Most people are either clueless and don’t see the overall problem or are doing to tell you you’re stupid The Recluse/Mountain Top combo, why is it so good/used/common? Because there’s nothing else equal to it. It’s not an over powered thing it’s a lack of other things to use. Most perks suck, most weapons suck, or a weapon would be good with this perk combo but it can’t roll with it. It all comes down to the devs can’t figure it out they are either too narrow sighted or just flat out stupid to see what we have been telling them for years and the way to force fix it? Just make certain things irrelevant over time, which will make their game irrelevant over time. Forcing people to do things they don’t want to do is always going to ruin things.
