I wonder when they’re going to realize that nerfing anything fun in game isn’t the solution. I’ve said once and I’ll say it again, I’d rather have power-creep instead of no power whatsoever. Buffs > Nerfs forever.
Edit: I’m not opposed to adjustments/nerfs, but we’ve been stuck in a very stupid cycle of “nerf X weapon/archetype: which causes Y archetype to become stronger” maybe if we had more buffs, we could combat the new meta weapon to spread out the malice instead of having it focused on one gun. Remember the Go-Fast Update? How awesome it was to feel powerful and fast? Welp they completely destroyed it for Dawnblade and Burst glide on Warlocks and now it’s just another nerf on top of the mountain of nerfs warlocks have received.

Sometimes I think why Bungie never listens to what the People want. It's like free market research but then I see some so stupid ideas posted here that I think please don't listen to that crap. I am not very happy with the road taken for the moment but I have to give Bungie the Point that they can't satisfy everyone. It"s more realistic that half the playerbase will be unsatisfied. It's like Politics.😂

2 답변Probably no, sorry. Bungie makes strange decisions, but the community here has no more clue how to help this game. Seeing what trends is a hint at how these people would vote - and hell no.

1 답변If that were to be a thing. It needs to be in game poll and not here on the forums Those who still play the game have feedback to actually give at this rate...since, you know, they're still playing.

Bungie doesn't want to know what the players really want, we (myself and some other forum members) came to that conclusion while discussing the first summit meeting. They have hundreds of thousands of email addresses, they could poll people there. Or they could create an in game poll. They have options. How much money does it cost to fly in a bunch of streamers vs. to put together a mass email with easy to compile responses? They don't want real answers, they want a bunch of guys who will echo back what they're thinking.

작성자: Swift 5/6/2020 11:46:24 AMi've been saying since D1 for this live game, there should be 1-3 poll questions that pop up when you sign on to play. Just quick yes/no questions. This way they are getting feedback from players who are actually playing. Not everyone jumps on these forums, reddit or twitter to see whats going on or give feedback.
-
nah they know what they are doing, you are mistaking their intentional design decisions for mistakes because you disagree with how they affect your play experience they want money over anything and the only time they agree something is going wrong is when numbers start going the wrong direction they aren't evil or anything, just gotta recognize that this is a mix of MMO with gambling addiction design systems to retain as many possible micros at the lowest possible cost for the longest possible time it'll never change until it gets regulated - live services just generate way way way too much revenue for them to ignore it out of guilt or a desire to provide more player value

Nah this community is crap. If we are talking pvp balance most people on this app are really casual and wouldn’t even care if we had a really busted meta. They would probably want laser tag Prometheus Lens Trials back lol.

작성자: Yura Dumaz 5/6/2020 4:29:15 AMI agree with some things buuut you should have done a poll about doing a pole so we could have percentages instead of trolls or bungie downvoting your post. I'm sure it's more popular than 89 upvotes as of 11:50pm 5/5/2020.

Just have it in game and announce when a new poll is up on one of those annoying banners that come across your screen when you log in. They do the same thing on Runescape, seems to work pretty well. You won't ever please everyone, but atheist the majority.

작성자: Arizath 5/5/2020 8:52:36 AMIt's good that they don't. They are game designers and we are not. We might have deep opinions on balancing but looking at the balancing suggestions of the community the pvp sandbox would be completely destroyed. Very simple things like nerfing antaeus wards is one thing because they are too strong, but talking about balancing shotguns, fusion rifles and subclasses should be left to bungie. And also: what would a poll about class nerfs look like? The other two classes would agree and the nerfed class disagree
-
Polling would only work if it happened when we signed into the game. Not on these forums. The only thing with a poll is they would design the questions so it would only be based on what they needed answers with not stupid comments from users. The idea of Bungie asking if they should nerf a class should not come up. Bungie might ask questions like how often did you play the Seraph Public Event A; Never B. only to complete weekly bounty C. a very small amount. Notice the question answers wouldn't give you a chance to comment so the information is actually usable.
-
Or they should just make a decision and stick to it instead of vacillating between the poles of this community. At least that way, we can decide if we want to play this game or not and move on. Instead, Bungie play the long FOMO game; they play on the Fear Of Missing Out of the next great epoch of the game due to some turnaround.

The buffs and nerfs are actually very well balanced in this game. Normally a weapon is underperforming, so they buff it. Then, the buff was likely to strong, so they'll nerf it to a medium between the old and the current, giving us an ultimately more balanced new. Our power level hasn't drastically increased or decreased since Vanilla Destiny 2, which isn't a bad thing. (exempting the switch to how weapon slots work in forsaken, which was obviously a massive boost, but was also entirely intentional).

작성자: Unbreakable Patches 5/5/2020 8:01:35 PMConsidering how biased and hateful this community is against random things, I don’t think it’d work very nicely. The buffs and nerfs so far haven’t really been too bad, considering a lot of things kill pretty nicely in PvP and PvE is pretty much a straight up cake walk nowadays.
