I haven't touched this game in over two years since D2 came out.
I was in shock at just how much "better" everything is. The world seems so much more "alive," the sparrows and ships have way better designs with a ton more detail on them, (the inventory actually LOADS), and just the general pve gameplay seemed so much more smooth and engaging.
I never realized just how bad D2 had gotten until now. It's the first day in months I didn't even bother logging in, even with the guardian games happening...
Seriously, wtf happened here.

1 답변Same. I got so bored with guardian “games” and went back to D1. I played through the entire campaign, and and a blast! Something about the graphics or art style made the game so much more... destiny, I guess. Also RIFT IS HERE (bring it to D2!)

My biggest thing is the graphics. They look better in d1. Its like Clone Wars vs Rebels graphics. Rebels looked to "kid like" but clone wars was good. If they realese d3 for next gen consoles they should remaster the d1 graphics.

작성자: MillerLiteBearer 5/2/2020 5:04:26 PMNovemberHotel is a YouTuber who is replaying all of d1 and after watching his videos it definitely made me go back to d1 just for a quick dose of nostalgia. However, after playing for a bit I realized just how much better d1 functioned overall and now Im halfway thru the taken king with a new character and enjoying every minute of it. It’s a shame that I am more excited to play old content that the brand new event guardian games

3 답변I watched some d1 videos recently. There is a small yt channel that is doing a game/story recap of d1 and all the dlc's in short episodes. And from what I have seen the story in general is much more interesting that d1. I get mass effect vibes from it. It's no high art but it's fun and interesting s-f romp and the characters feel so much better that in d2. Imagine if the red war story line never happened and we went from the end of d1 directly to forsaken and shadowkeep then had the warmind/osiris stuff. Forsaken and shadowkeep would have dealt with the aftermath and consequences of TTK. Then after the end of shadowkeep the threat of the Darkness and second collapse would have motivated Ana to try get help from Rasputin and Ikora to look for Osiris and Saint to prepare for the last battle. All the characters would have been relevant and the story progress would have made much more sens. The red war just feels like bad fan fiction. The tower and the last city in permanent limbo after the attack. Locations like Io and Titan feel like nothing more that backdrops for a story that would work in single player game but fail as patrol zones.

작성자: Infamous067 5/2/2020 3:06:03 PMThe pvp is much better too, primaries actually feel like primaries and being able to customize how you want your class to work is amazing. Exotics actually feel like exotics too, try using bad juju on D1 and see how much faster you get your super compared to D2 where you will barely notice it. One thing I truly appreciate about D1 when it gets to supers is that support supers can be acquired faster than the lethal supers and the one time supers like nova bomb can be acquired faster than roaming supers. It makes complete sense because roaming supers can get you 4-8 kills if used right and a one time super can get you only about 1-3 kills if everyone is close together.

작성자: VikingMk 5/2/2020 12:59:18 PMBeen thinking about heading back to D1 for a while to replay some classic missions (literally any time, in any order, right from the director!!), and reuse some classic pre-Luke weaponary. Might even change the colour of my glowy armour (can't for the life of me remember what that's called...). Anyway; you inspired me - installing now!! EDIT: CHROMA!! Goddamn, had to Google it. Ooh, up to 3% installed. Can't wait to go where current Bungie won't follow with the nerf-hammer and the sunset squad robots...

1 답변작성자: PJ__Bottoms 5/1/2020 11:43:24 PMLike how this already got downvoted to zero. I guess fanboys don't like when you have a different opinion. Seriously though, things feel so much more powerful and fun. Explosive rounds feel explosive with a large flash of flame and noticeable stagger effects. Firefly feels rewarding for popping precision noggin kills. I had more fun running around doing patrols and bounties in d1 this afternoon than I have doing any newly designed seasonal activity in Destiny 2. Everyone complained when d2 came out if it was too much like d1 it could have just been an expansion. Now it would be a blessing to have d2 be just like destiny 1. Least on the pve gameplay side of things.
