Your statistical model was built to ensure that Hunters wouldn’t win.
And I don’t care about which class wins, but weighing the numbers based on number of characters as a class makes the system flawed since existence doesn’t equal people actually playing.
Edit: The point of this post is not about who wins. That is inconsequential in every single way. The point is that Bungie is using bad math in their effort to even things up.

22 답변The class that wins this event won't actually be the most popular it will be the class players least like, as people are deleting there 3rd class an making it over an over again after they have banked the free gold medal, so well played bungie yet another bit of content that you didn't play test enough an was shipped half baked again.

58 답변Hunters deserve this, currently in game there is 50% hunters, they have the most o.p classes, abilities, and some of the most o.p exotics, they deserve to not win another thing for once. They also have the smallest hitbox, some of the coolest ornaments, and the best mobility, irregardless of what mods they have on. They deserve to lose guardian games.

Therefore, with this glitch, with the majority of people being hunters, and warlocks being good rn, what are they gonna keep deleting? Their TITANS. Its a double whammy you guys arent even realizing. 2) Many hunters primarily play pvp Lets be real, most people play hunter because they are the strongest class especially on console with shit fov. You get less medals in pvp. 3) there could actually be a mistake in the weighting Bungie could have -blam!-ed up which is not likely because it is such an easy calculation. If titans are 23% of the population, every medal should be worth 77/100. If warlocks are 27%, it would be 73/100. If hunters are 50% which they are in fact, the weighting should be 50/100. That is how it should be.

3 답변Just seems like a bad idea from the start. There will always be a more popular class. Imagine being a “loser” for not picking the same thing as everyone else (if you remember the factions). There isn’t a fair way to do this. One group will always have an unfair advantage no matter how you play it.

Hunter mains are getting accused of crying in a corner and acting like babies for having an opinion on a flawed system. It genuinely has nothing to do with us losing. It’s just not fair that a statistic shows that, yes we hunters are the dominant class but it’s not taken into account the inactive player base. It has also not taken into account that most hunter mains reside purely in the Crucible and very rarely wander into PvE. Therefor it also limits what these Hunter Mains will do. If they were to change anything at this point in time, hunters may dominate again and then anyone who is a Titan main will get accused of the exact same thing. Crying and calling the entire thing unfair. It’s a vicious circle. Warlocks seem to be happy with silver, which isn’t shade but from the forums it’s what I’ve seen. Which in all fairness the silver does look the best anyway. I just want the triumphs. This event was supposed to be fun and ‘bring everyone together as a community’ yet all it’s done is pit one keyboard warrior against another. There are way more important things to worry about right now. Let the Titans win. Let them have their prize for a year. A week after getting it, it will be forgotten about and something else will be -blam!- about. No one will be wearing the cloak, bond or mark as soon as they have all the triumphs or the Machine Gun. If people want to put so much effort into deleting a character, let them. Kudos to them.

I know. People need to understand that behind ANY character you meet (hunter, Titan, or Warlock) there’s a human being. I am a hunter main, been one since d1 on the PS3 just cause I like hunters appearance wise. Then these ridiculous guardian games come along and start creating rifts and hate within the community just for what character we play as? Grow up ffs play the character you like or rotate which one you play but literally just have fun! Back to my statement about “human beings” there are people who play video games who have a hard life and want to escape it. I have depression. I don’t need some -blam!- coming along on ANY character just to mess with me (t bagging, punching/slapping, emotting what have you). I know what you’re thinking, “it’s a game” “grow up” “grow some skin” but I am TIRED of this un-needed hate. I have been abused mentally and physically all my life and working retail during a pandemic, I don’t need a stranger coming along to mess with me go somewhere else. I honestly don’t care who wins this thing. You won’t get anything. If Titans win they will be called cheaters, if warlocks win they will be called lucky, if hunters win they will be called trash or annoying pricks. I just want to have a fun time playing video games and not have to feel bad for the character I choose to play as even though I rotate characters weekly and daily. I hope the All Mighty comes crashing down on this whole event and ends this toxic pool of hate, at least it’ll be actual story for once.

Tbh I thought their explanations of the weighting were very vague. I'd very much like them to show their workings to either show that there's credibility to what they've done OR show and acknowledge that they've made some oversights (e.g. regarding active players) and rebalance the weightings accordingly. I'd also like to know how many people have put in more medals than should have been mathematically possible with 3 characters to confirm if all this talk about people deleting and remaking characters is worth a damn. Left as it is, it's going to be a tainted victory for Titans and that statue they get in the tower is just going to be a routine reminder (all year) of a Bungie bungle.

33 답변For those who haven't noticed, on the GG podium, there are 21 sigils that depict the number of days for guardian games. And after each daily reset, it adds the sigil for the class that won for that day. Example: As it stands, hunters have 1 sigil, and Titans have 4. Assuming that Bungie is only taking into account who wins per day, if Titans can stay in the lead for the next 6 days, we'll win the whole event. Stay strong my brothers, the fight is not yet over 💪😎
