It’s a real “screw you” from Bungie to the people that mostly play alone or with a few other people. It was hard to begin-not sure why they had to make it harder in the first place. Now no one is even bothering- there’s no players near the towers anymore. I go to the towers and all I hear is crickets.

i just tried this event... i started this season like 2 weeks ago im finally high enough to do this stuff. BUT THIS STUFF IS IMPOSSIBLE. why did they do this. can't even do the weeklies F this sh*t

I demand that the one who had this idea be fired immediately.

It is possible to complete.. whats absolut impossible is the hardcoded victory Triumph.. you cant defend every plate.. was too many things are up to blueberries.. Worst Triumph for a seal sadly.

I understand wanting to make the event harder for the end of the season but in my opinion this is a little much even for skilled players. especially for people like me who mostly play solo and have to rely on matchmaking. I've lost count of how many times I've attempted the public event and I haven't been able to complete it once this week with my level 1012 titan.

I'm not sure why Bungie modified the event with 40+ days left in the season other than it was getting done too fast. I've seen youtubers that have their bunkers filled to the brim with missiles. Mine however are still empty and I know I completed at least 5 or 6 events before they changed it. It's clear that the same random crowd can't complete these events anymore. The level increase has made it so that team coordination is needed. Either the team chat or clans have to trick the system to get all their buddies in the same game instance so they can coordinate. There is just not enough public coordination with random players. The other thing is it might be bugged at some locations. Not sure. But I'd swear I've seen Anna shut down the event when there were no towers being overwhelmed. You think your doing fine and then, no, "well have to try again later".

Finally managed it yesterday on the moon. Just got lucky and ran in to a team of mad Spanish players who arranged a team of 9. We failed the trophy on go one but effort two we crushed it. Mad thanks to those involved. However I've run into teams of 9 players on edz who failed to even launch. Coordination is the key. Voice chat is helpful

I’d hoped to say in before “git gud” and “it’s not hard”, however I’m sadly too late. I agree, Bungie design these things in a way that prevents most people from being able to complete them. I guess it’s their way of making it “meaningful“. I doubt whether I’ll be bothering, there’s always a step or two that stops me getting any more titles (only have dredgen and wayfarer).

9 max light people makes that event a joke. Ran 25 different LFG players in groups of 5 the other day, not a single failure.

we did it in 1 go with my clan, just try to team up on the moon, reload the zone and find eachother

Tonight my clan managed to get 3 full fireteams of seasoned players into one sever on earth and again on io . We tried many different strats and where unable to complete the event on either world. we even ran 8 rat kings, which was to say the least was incredibly fun and effective but still never made it past 91%. On top of all that almost all of us had destiny application crashes while on earth. I do think it is still doable but it is rough.

Mad Lad idea, ram th back of the Almighty with the biggest Awoekn Dreadnaught, unless that thing is Flying faster then anything we can make, if we increase it's trajectory, it's velocity increases, meaning it misses earth, and with Earth's Gravity being big enough sling shots said Almighty into th Dark Abyss. Honestly, I've say around with friends drinking and discussing the plot holes in, "The Almighty has been left dead stick, flying striaght at us. Now we have to blow it out of the sky." Can we talk about how an 1980 Spy drama flic idea ended up in a Video game. Who in the Board Room, thought hey let's use as many sci-fi tropes from old movies as possible. Fire him please.
