On a positive note!
Amidst all the hate, the boredom, the sheer frustration and anger...which I understand and I’m not knocking ..
I thought I’d just say hi and say, I’m not un enjoying Destiny.
Had a patch a few weeks back to be sure when I got a bit fed up with it and I did have a few days away from the game at one point, and I’m a casual..
But my main character is only 978 so I’ve got some growing to do lol, and after another crummy day of working from home/self isolating, it’s still a pleasant enough distraction to log on and try out the Dire Promise or the Interference VI, weapons I’ve not had before, and see how they compare.
Sure, it’s mainly bounties but hey, if you can’t snipe (like me) you can bring out your dusty sniper rifle and see if you can actually hit something in the head!. Or use those weapon types you don’t use normally, in my case sidearms, shotguns and scouts, and just see if you can have a little fun.
I know the games not perfect but the gunplay is crisp, the settings are good and p, if you don’t treat it as a job or a 24/7 hobby, then yeah just for casual knock about fun, there’s some good stuff there.

5 답변Me and some buddies have been grinding for exotics and pinnacles we never had the chance to get or energy to try for. Been slowly working on seals and collections. Been grinding out catalysts and trying out various builds. We have fun with it. Been trying out comp to help a friend get the Mida catalyst. I'm thinking of getting them through the raids on d1 and then trying the d2 raids. We are super pumped for Guardian Games and perhaps after its over doing some private srl in d1.

3 답변The AI is stupid and easy to kill after you chase them around for a while and find out where they're hiding... radar would be nice. There is so much aim assist on the weapons you just plain s u c k if you miss anything. As soon as this went F2P anyone who rented anything else is just filthy rich and or stupid. F2P is basically a slap in the face to the renters. F2P is Bungie's way of saying pay us for nothing but recycled items we're done. And before that, if you EVER purchased any digital garbage from eververse you are simply a hater of the poor and less fortunate people you should be helping. I would never pay for a game that had no offline mode. The person who gifted it to me quit playing before light level 550 You will see no vintage game day with Destiny

1 답변i couldn’t be bothered levelling up my main account so I’m not even 970! I logged on to open the bunkers but didn’t touch the game otherwise in weeks. Yesterday, via New Light, started a new character and using unloved old weapons, unfashionable class (Warlock...) - quite enjoyed it. I’m in love with Pribina HC - Backup Mag and Outlaw and Last Perdition. Found a little of the old mystery and immersion that’s bern lost for quite a long time from the endless grocery list grind of endgame Destiny 2.

The only thing left for me to enjoy was solo comp Now they ruined that too with 75% of the matches being on the new 3 shitty maps from D1 I don't understand why they would do that, why not just make map choice random. Bungo can't even figure out randomness right

You know theres no pve side on content when your midway through the season and you have reset your valor 7 times. Its a good thing to know however your enjoying not as bored so ggs

1 답변That's good to hear, friend! It's always welcome to hear a voice of optimism, especially in these tricky times (both in and out of the game). I'm also in a similar position to you: not quite hardcore, dipping in periodically for fun. May I ask how you're finding the Seraph Tower event so far? Because, honestly, that is the season's weakest point in my opinion. But I'd love to hear your thoughts on it!

2 답변Yep. I am working right now to get enhanced mods. So when iron banner is out, I'm grinding tokens. When it's not out, I grind 970 nightfalls.

3 답변I am finding it hilarious currently..... I just managed to get my wife back into PVP.... and now her account is barely playable due to continual Watercress errors.... The Bungie response.... play on a different platform.....
