Indeed, but in the thousands of hours I've played I don't believe I've encountered this. So rare it may as well not exist, unlike pc by all accounts where it appears to be rife.
and out of the thousands hours ive played on pc i ve only seen around 10 cheaters (and half of them were on my team in comp).
i also never encountered a cheater in trials so far.
sure there is more chaters on pc, but it definitely dont make the pc pvp unplayable, to me the 30fps from console is more annoying than the few cheaters i can encounter as 30fps gives me a headache now.
I’ve encountered it maybe five times in my Destiny franchise career, ironically once in each iteration of the top end PvP mode (trials (D1) during how (network outage for hours, caused me to quit the mode till during TTK) also in HoW ToO the freeze your character cheat where your character stopped responding to inputs and you are a sitting duck), trials of the nine, comp (when it took over for trials of the nine, hours of outage and had to replace my equipment due to damages), and once during ToO: the return.
I’m sure someone has probably aimbotted me before, but since I’m not familiar with the difference between it and a good sniper, I cannot say for any certainty if I did or didn’t. I just know being sniped gets me all worked up, just like being TLW fodder, so I figured I’d play this one cool, lol
It happens, and it’s semi rare, but I also wasn’t someone who was able to spend every waking moment in trials, nor was I top end by any stretch, so I probably see it far less than others may. But it does happen
I wasn’t using career as a job per se. I was using it in the context of the timeframe for which I have played a game. I hope that makes some sense, as I don’t really know how else to really describe what I mean:
On the Aimbot front, go and Play Scorch on Xbox.
I've seen people go 20+ an 0 deaths. Some people were facing the wrong way, shooting backwards and killing me regardless of where I was or what I was doing. But because it's a "fun" non competitive mode, Bungle doesn't even monitor it.
