I level up, which was pretty boring and then stopped playing. I've been thinking about logging in, but I start playing other games and forget about Destiny. I'm not trying to be negative, but I'm wondering what other players are doing? Once you hit 1000, I don't see any point to play PVP. There are no rewards to chase this season, which might be why matchmaking takes a while. If I play any PVP it would be IB since you at least get a few pinnacles. Pretty much 99.99% of drops have low stats, so I don't feel like grinding that out. We'll see what the free event brings.

No. PVP has SBMM which can make MM a problem. There is no incentive to grind the regular strike play list once you get the weekly milestone....and there is no MM for the Seraph Tower events. Unless there are people in your instance who want to run it...you're out of lock. ...and part of the problem with the ST events is that the bounties themselves direct you to other parts of the game. ...and that's the fundamental problem here. This game is at NO risk of dying. But the Milestone system is a failure and needs to go away. Bungie has been so obsessed with trying to manuever us into playing parts of the game that we DON"T like, that they are not empowering us (and making it rewarding) to play the parts of the game that we DO like. I think that is part of the reason why so many people are feeling frustrated right now. They feel like they can't play the parts of the game that they like....the way they like to play them...and still get rewarded by the game. Last season (The Dawn) seemed to be moving towards that....but this season (Worthy) seems to be a giant leap backwards in that regard. Because---right now----the most rewarding (from a loot and speed of progression standpoint) way to play the game is to grab up bounties.....and farm Lost Sectors all day. While bounties are partially to blame for this, I also feel that the Milestone system is a HUGE factor in this as well. But Bungie keeps trying to tweak that failed system. Rather than admitting that it has been a failure and just scrapping it.

The game is not dying, but crucible it tricky. People choose the events based on progress, light, power and bounties. Mayhem is not the most popular and offer the slowest ways to progress in PVP. It is a great place to test your reflex and gaming setting. I hope this helped.

1 답변Yes. People are bored and moving onto other games. I had to switch clans because mine left D2 to play Path of Exile. Even with the pandemic, so many people staying home. You'd think that D2 would have record numbers of players. Nope. Grinding bounties for higher light level gear gets old. Clearing your bunker every day so you can get more bounties is boring. The Seraph Towers are boring. If there were new story missions people would play. People are still interested in where the story is leading, still curious about Uldren the newbie guardian or the connection between Rasputin and Felwinter. Staying home for a long stretch of time is boring. Nobody wants to play a game they find boring.

1 답변I finished my pve part for the next two weeks .. took me 30 seconds to level up the bunker .. 5 minutes per bunker and 7:44 for soloing the legendary lost adventure on IO.. done for the next two weeks I guess .. trials is not doable since I am, like most players , a solo player and even in my 3500 man clan construct we have barely people playing and if they have fixed fireteams since D1 and I don’t want to wait for a streamer to carry me .. so there is nothing new left to do after around 30 minutes a play for two weeks .. I can’t even get new warming bits since I already gave 2500 over and there is no new bunker coming ..

13 답변Yes it is dying. Here's the steam charts https://steamcharts.com/app/1085660. I hope its doing better on console. I do love the mechanics and original story of the game, but as many have stated there are too many problems to possibly fix this game. Hopefully they get it right with destiny 3 (assuming they still do one). I'm still playing as long as the servers are up or diablo 4 launches. Might actually go back to warframe for awhile too if the next season isn't more fun than this.

3 답변It appears that people do not realize that the total number of players across 3 platforms is only important to Bungie themselves. The only number that is important to players is the numbers on the platform they are playing. I am not sure a 430k average per platform, spread across the planet, is an indication of strength.

4 답변Been doing Menagerie with <1 minute matchmaking times. Given that Menagerie is about year old content, I’d say things are pretty healthy.

3 답변It takes over 2 hours to find a guided game for nightfall. I can't imagine how it is for raids. 6 hours? 10?
