Destiny 3 isn't what we need
First of all, if you think D2 is unplayable or unfun, just stop playing it. It's not gonna do anything to whine to the devs about how you "pay their salary" (you don't), etc.
Second, if you think D3 will be better than D2 is currently, you haven't played D2 year 1. The first year of D3 (if it even comes out) is doomed to be full of bugs and errors by Bungie, both technical- and design-wise. You could argue they've learned from their mistakes, but then you clearly haven't learned from yours if you do.
Third, if you think D1 is better than D2, you are welcome to go back and play it instead. The servers are still up and running on both platforms. (Personally, I think Forsaken brought D2 into a state where D1 has much less to offer that D2 lacks, but again, if you disagree, the D1 community welcomes you).
Finally, as a side note, if you dislike Destiny 2, you're entitled to your opinion. That said, your sodium levels are still visibly higher than ours.

actually, D3 is what this game needs. it desperately needs a new engine and dedicated servers. half the reason why we are in this boat, is due to the antiquated game engine. it is very difficult to work with, and is large a factor with how long it takes for things to happen, and the bugs that arise. and i shouldn't need to explain why we need dedicated servers at this point.

D2Y1 was garbage, but at least it was playable and not Straight up broken. Slowest load times to date Riddled with bugs No ritual weapons No new iron banner gear Trials content is 5 years old Still no vendor refresh Weapon retirement announcement Broken season exotics Lag Hackers New public event consists of throwing a ball Bounty simulator Nerfs Lack of response from bungie Copy and past seasons Eververse stuffed with goodies Still no new strike loot Gambit, crucible, vanguard. The three main activities in the game haven’t been updated since forsaken. A year and a half ago. The same lost sectors we have been doing for 3 years, with a new difficulty. The same strikes we have been doing for 3 years with a new difficulty. Iron banner, once one of destiny’s best game modes. Same old armour and no new weapons apart from a bow that’s been in the game files for two seasons and is a reskin hahaha We won’t get a destiny 3. Nor will bungie continue D2 much longer. They have a whole new game to work on with a different company. But for don’t care about destiny anymore why can’t anyone see that?

It just got... worse somehow. Some part of D2 is better than D1, but all in all...they are both pretty bad. If it didn't work the first time, why would the second time be any different....? Pure insanity.

1 답변There won't be a Destiny 3. Bungie will milk Destiny 2 as much as possible until it dies and by then their NetEase IP will release, and they won't even bother keeping Destiny 2 online after that.

There won't be a D3 if Luke Smith's directing it. It'd be the same exact thing, boring bounty grinding for no reason (i don't consider leveling up for no reason an actual reason). To have a new game, you'd either need a fresh new director that's not a no-life world of warcrafter or just sell the game to another publisher. In order to market it there'd need to be a reason for it to exist, and a Luke Smith D3 is not the least bit exciting.

1 답변Well apparently Luke Smith said we’re stuck with This piece of shit (D2) for 4-5 more years, so they’re gonna milk it for all its worth while working on Matter (their other shitty mobile game) behind the scenes at typical Bungie pace.
