With out the majority of players participating, the mode will wither and die.
Forbes even wrote about it and articulates the situation very well.

I welcome discussion, but will ignore the knuckle dragging “get good” response.
Thanks devs for your hard work!

The big things I am seeing are complaints about teams farming tokens by resetting their cards, players feeling like there are not enough incentives and rewards to go flawless, and asks for adept weapons. I know there are definitely others so feel free to add your thoughts in the comments.

2 답변I think Destiny 1 nailed the loot aspect of Trials pretty well. When Trials first came out, there were 2 sets of weapons and armor. If you wanted to get rewards casually, you could get the basic set of weapons and armor, but if you wanted to go for flawless, you were rewarded with an exclusive set of rewards for going flawless. The next year, when they introduced a new set of flawless armor, the previous flawless set became available to all players. This system of armor drops satisfies the casual and hardcore communities. The hardcore players always have the latest and greatest set to show their flawless prowess and the casual players are not concerned about FOMO for some of the coolest looking gear in the game. Right now, hardcore players have less incentive for flawless and casual players have less incentive because hardcore players are farming wins for tokens. It's a lose-lose situation. In terms of weapons, Adept weapons are absolutely the way to go. Each set of weapons should get a PVP/trials specific intrinsic perk such as Celerity to give it an edge in Trials without concern of it running into Pinnacle weapon issues (ie Mountaintop/Recluse). Similarly, this gives an incentive to go flawless, but still allows casual players to get the base version of the weapon. Finally, something needs to be done about the incentive to farm tokens in low scoring tickets. I think the root of the problem is that Trials is very stingy with it's token rewards. I would rather see a system that gives more tokens based on how many wins you get on a card. For example, let's say you get 3 tokens for a win and 2 tokens for a loss as a default. Then, every time you turn in your card, you get more tokens based on the number of wins you had. Something like 1 token for every win up to 3 wins, 2 tokens for 4-5 wins, 4 tokens for 6-7 wins, and 10 tokens if the ticket is flawless. This would give you up to 15 tokens for a 7 win ticket and 25 tokens for a flawless ticket (in addition to the tokens you get for each win along the way). This would give players an incentive to continue to play on a ticket knowing that they will get more rewards the further along they get on a Trials card.

2 답변This is what happens when players play pve and think themselves to be good when all the shoot at is enemies that don't fight back!

1 답변Pve isn’t fun for most of pvp players too. Why aren’t you talking about it and why we should upgrade our light level to compete against raiders that have less than half of our skill?

8 답변작성자: xS0LIDERx 4/1/2020 10:24:51 PMThe majority of complainers don't want to have to work for it. They just want to have it. Flawless is hard based on your skill. I will probably not get a flawless card. But that is ok, im realistic. I don't live in a world of handouts, entitlement, and shameful begging. The only thing that needs some work is the banning of cheaters. That needs to be frequent and to the mac address of the device. Permanently. Trial's also target's a smaller demographic.

2 답변If you go flawless your character should be locked out of trials for the week. Give others a chance. Also needs to be a limit on resetting the card with less than 3 x losses.

So I have an idea that may help us players that play the game alot. And the casual players and bungie dose not have to do anything if eather one day on the weekend all the streemers and content creates take a day off or one week end a month and stop those acount recovery people I play almost every day and if I don't have something in the game It's ok but that dose not mean that I'm not going to try because that is the fun part of this game I played alot of d1 and a fare amount of trials and made it to the light house one time. But that made the special to me I hope thay can do some thing like d1 and give us bounties that gave you the loot and it is ok to make it so you can repurchase the bounties to try to get a better roll and put Adept weapons in for going flawless that way the try-hards that want to go Flawless every weekend have something to grind for and people like me that just want a good version of the weapon that's okay these are just some thoughts. Somebody that loves game but would like to see some changes

12 답변My friend and I have reach 5500 in survial. That mean something right? And we get flawless to light house in fthe irst week even we only have low power 980 facing 1000 power player. The next week, we hardly reach 7 wins and decide "maybe this map is so good for hand cannon and shotgun player." This week, we never reach 5 wins. My friends go to paly CoD. I am alone now. When you make this mode try so hard, and so disappointing with this loot. Average player went away. After average player went away, good players got smashed by top players, we got away too. Then, top players could enjoy themselves in ToO? Not, I bet not.

4 답변Too many negative pvp changes, no balancing between weapon archetypes or subclasses. The worst mod system I’ve ever seen. Revert them all back to how it was D1. I won’t play again while autos are the meta.

42 답변For all the players out there that just say, it's for the elite player's. Have fun with that because soon all of you so called elite player will be playing with yourselves. You think you would want to encourage new players to play trials. But you just chase them away with your get gud comments. Acking like your entitled to this game mode you, and no one else should try...

11 답변Surprise, surprise. You need a healthy population for a game mode to survive and matchmaking to function properly. Higher skilled players told average and casual players that Trials wasn't meant for them and to go away. Those players took their advice and now people are freaking out.

4 답변I think you complainers are a bunch of cowards.. I enjoyed having these hard matches this weekend and we only got to 5 wins but we improved every day.. Stop being a bunch of crying -blam!-...
