100mb down is not great. However it certainly is not bad either. There are just areas in the US and around the world. Were getting speeds into the 500mb or up is not happening or ridiculously expensive. Take for example, when I lived in south Georgia 100mb down. Was god teir normally between 30-50s. Now in Washington I can get in the 500s. Much of these issues would be solved. If they would just ditch there current p2p system and get legit servers.

Or states/countries need to work on their internet architectures. While P2P isn’t the way to go, it’s built on the architecture already in place. And Washington state? Where you at you can only get 500s? I’m in WA and I’ve got a gig for the same price as 500 MB.

작성자: MARRZ 3/25/2020 6:44:34 PMNo it’s not FIOS fiber run on a segmented network. Also. , I don’t have issues. I however do know and understand they exist and not just discount them and users complaints to being poor internet. That would be extremely poor judgement business wise if bungie took your stance.

But most of them are due to poor internet and hard drives. I’m running a 1 gig internet speed on a gaming modem and router with Cat 8 cables and SSDs. There are like 13 devices (including 3 xboxs playing this game right now) and I have ZERO issues. ZERO. Many of my issues went away when I upgraded my network architecture and hard drive. “FIOS” doesn’t immediately make your internet better and segmenting your network still segments the bandwidth. The benefits of segmentation are more related to security.

Bro, who’s really going to invest in that equipment bro unless you are gaming hard. Most kids parent put in the internet and generally don’t have that kind of set up. Most normal people playing don’t. In rural areas some people are luck to get DSL or ISDN. Broadband in this country is lagging behind and unless you pay for a larger bandwidth you... but again, these are “KNOWN ISSUES”. Issues bungie are aware of admit are issues and are working on them. As I stated in another reply that peer to peer means it normalizes at the slowest peer to make the handshake. Not everyone has 1gig or even 100mbs. Your connection has to normalize with everyone else slower that you.

And that’s fine that everyone can’t afford or has the knowledge to have that setup. But that’s why they are experiencing these issues. And that’s not bungies fault. They shouldn’t have to hold their product back because people don’t or can’t upgrade. That’s the way technology works. Things have to be upgraded over time. TVs, computers, phones, etc.
-
It is bungie’s fault for building the architecture in a way that causes inequities across the network. Again as I said in another post if there are not dedicated servers in D3 and 60+ FPS. I’m Randy Jackson. Peer to peer works but allows to much wiggle.
Its a no for me dawg
Well considering I logged into a alt account and it loads up perfectly fine... Its on bungies end. And you haven't read them all have you. Because they go in depth and show the errors occurring since this season started. Pretty easy to deduce that bungie made a mistake and are working to find what they did. Wouldn't be the first time they made a mistake. ( also a friend had this issue in the past and bungie fixed it for him so... Yeah) Its not bungies fault entirely though, the whole corona virus has the devs away from their main equipment
