there have been many great viewpoints on both sides of the aisle.
Overwhelming majority still oppose the change, as it is.
I think the biggest concern, is the grind for a good roll can take an entire season as it stands, that would be insulting to lose it immediately after. Another big concern is, the materials we sink into our favorite guns will be wasted, if we decide to masterwork at all.
Finally, many fear that the weapon rotation from Bungies creative team will not, in fact, be fresh weapon ideas, but simply reskins of old tired weapons, in order to create an artificial gear chase, which would act more like a revolving door, than an evolving world.
If bungie can address these top 3 concerns, that would go a long way to showing some good faith.
When I heard about this retirement, I was furious, now I am mad. Honestly, how the hell they could thought this, slap on their stomachs and burp this out, not even respecting our spent time by making these changes. I won't play if they push these changes through the envelope, I won't support a game that is not respecting my hundreds of spent time.

1 답변작성자: ScottF 2112 3/3/2020 9:58:20 PMI get that they have to come up with easy ways to keep us doing the same activities. I just hope they bring back things like firefly from D1 that have been missing. We could all forget about current weapons if they shift PVP meta away from 150 hand cannons and If they add things like Fatebringer/Hung Jury (with D1 firefly), Dark Drinker, Raze Lighter, etc. Maybe Horseshoes and hand grenades on PVP rocket launchers, add some strike specific weapons that are meta, etc. I play too much, so this is probably a bigger deal for people with less time.

작성자: SsvenN 3/3/2020 9:44:54 PMI don't like it for 1 particular reason - the amount of grind hidden behind the scene. People have no idea when in the world of 900ish+ items on general activities, you'll get the odds to recieve even 3 out of 5 perks on the weapon you want will lead us to 6.164864141077557e-12 per, let's say at lowest 6 minutes runs, or in other words to ~0.00000000000062. And it's with roll of 6< perks on the weapons. Now imagine there will be 10-15 or even 20. It's great to use the weapons without the perks at all. We all aiming for those. Out of the league to pinacle activities and just general ones... Bungie can just adjust the starting PL on world areas to 1000+, and welp - you'll out even from the patrols. So it's a big no to me. Like i'm not willing to grind hundreds of hours just for the clan mates to accept me to do raid activities ( the future ones). And be forced to do it each and every 9 months.

I mean.. I picked "don't mind" but I really mean "couldn't care less" I'm bored stupid filling a vault with God rolls I literally never use, cos let's be honest.. a rapid fire pulse is a rapid fire pulse give or take.. I couldn't even be bothered to get the Sundial sidearm or fusion cos all I'll do is vault them.. Breakneck was one of my favourite weapons EVER in Destiny.. and they screwed it into the ground. Ace got nerfed cos pc pvp.. Sleeper & Queenbreaker got nerfed cos Gambit.. having guns neutered is nothing new in this game.. Remember D1 nerfing Truth to 1 in the mag? A change that literally zero ppl asked for.. they make apex weapons, let us build round them & then cut the weapons. Or the reload. Or the super. Or the ammo. Or the multiple exotic armours. I was proper pi**ed about Banshee dropping the ball on reset (without an actual patch this time?) but, why even bother.. the game has become glitchier than ever (even patrol enemies teleport everywhere) and it's jus stopped being fun for the vast majority of playtime.. even the new trailer left me 'eh.. yeah no.. whatever.." and I used to book days off work for new content.. Cap, remove, disable.. yeah whatever Bungie.. I jus can't be bothered with this anymore.. D1 still loads up tho 😏👍

1 답변How bout adding trading or god forbid, being able to purchase a weapon with the perks you want from someone who has it. It will let people be able to get what they want without grinding for it instead of getting it 2 weeks before it’s power capped.

32 답변They nerfed the best weapon and thus completely devalued their absolutely best ever piece of content. The Whisper and the Whisper Mission. Both were masterpieces. Since then it is only a way downhill. Weapon retirement might very well be the last nail in the coffin to never touch Destiny again.

8 답변I worked hard to get the fun stuff! Now they want to retire everything I work for every six months?!

2 답변Any regular legendary aside from pinnacle can he retired or capped. Pinnacles should forever be allowed to infuse to the highest level given that there were quests attributed to them. Same for all exotics.

7 답변Bungie is killing the incentive to 1. Grind for current and future god-rolls since the weapons has a shelf life. 2. Infuse weapons up to Master Work level since the weapon has a shelf life. 3. Kills the drive to go after pinnacle / ritual weapons since the grind and tasks are long and repetitive knowing that all your effort in this is wasted because weapons have a shelf life. 4. Why sweat in trials for flawless to get trials weapons knowing that they have a shelf life. 5 Kills the incentive to buy weapon ornaments with SILVER because the weapons have a shelf life and it would be wasted money.

4 답변Guns are guns, i don't mind trading out legendary weapons over time. But I would like to have a bit more of the power fantasy, it feels like they got it to a good place and then stripped it right back when Shadowkeep came out

11 답변There's absolutely no reason to retire weapons we currently own. Retire loot pools from older activities & reinvigorate them with new, desirable options. They've already done it with regards to loot from Trials of the nine & the factions, even though they're adding back some faction loot with the coming season. Proof positive that they can do it! Don't let him forget he said "your weapons are an extension of your character" oh and "throw more money at the screen"😩

작성자: $hirtless Captain Kirk 3/3/2020 7:08:34 PMIt's a penis poll without an option I can vote for. I think weapon retirement can be very good for the game if done properly. I think it could be completely detrimental and maybe even kill Destiny if done poorly. I can see massive amounts of justification for retiring every weapon from Year One besides Exotics. All of those weapons were from the two primary system they're rarely used, they're stupid, they're old and they're tired and they can also be brought back later. I'm not exactly trying to get wrecked by some nerd using cold sweat in trials. When it comes to year 2 weapons and Beyond it is not cool for them to be deleting those weapons or making them irrelevant. That will not work, that will not fly, it will piss off so many people that the game will be done. Everyone you brought back with forsaken will leave

8 답변I don't get to play much because i work and I'm not able to play this game 24/7. So when I finally get the time to get something I can use and that I like, I'd like to keep using it in all activities. It's unfortunate that bungie doesnt feel the same towards the casual player as they do to the streamers or hardcore fans. Pitty
