Post your reasons below, keep it civil.

If so, see below
there have been many great viewpoints on both sides of the aisle.
Overwhelming majority still oppose the change, as it is.
I think the biggest concern, is the grind for a good roll can take an entire season as it stands, that would be insulting to lose it immediately after. Another big concern is, the materials we sink into our favorite guns will be wasted, if we decide to masterwork at all.
Finally, many fear that the weapon rotation from Bungies creative team will not, in fact, be fresh weapon ideas, but simply reskins of old tired weapons, in order to create an artificial gear chase, which would act more like a revolving door, than an evolving world.
If bungie can address these top 3 concerns, that would go a long way to showing some good faith.
작성자: TJ_Dot 3/4/2020 3:13:50 AMInstead of beating the dead horse of why it's bad overall, my more personal reasons are because of the importance aesthetic carries in a lot of my nearly 80 loadouts. I don't shut up about my one with Wish Ender, I call the build "Dreaming Oath" (Guess the armor set/exotic) This uses weapons that are also Awoken related, Wish Ender being the main course. Energy options include Translation Theory, Waking Vigil, and Vouchsafe. Translation often takes precedence due to its reliability in PvP in close Quarters (like the only time I use this setup). Heavy is Apex Predator, basic tracking rocket. I have no drive to change anything up in this build and I'm fine with that, it is already complete. I'm a strange word they call "content". Forcing away the weapons isn't going to change that, because the theme matters more. There is also the loss of entire archetypes and beloved weapons, my Arc-Quickfang as such.

Ok I think destiny needs to take a hard line on broken things the perfect example is lord of wolves if a item is broken or too powerful for too long (recluse last word stompes) it should have a max power cap of the season it was retired in so it can be used but not abused in comp or high level activities
-
You're incoming weapon nerf is to insure players aren't locked into the same loadout meta , yet you're lowering the amount of weapon diversity by making older weapons useless , this makes no sense. You have a patch and or update that contradicts itself. Think about it.

I like to be unique and have guns i like that can't be obtained anymore....also i have bad luck finding guns with rolls. Exotics aren't even worth using since the perks are set and the purple has more better options and stats. I'd quit again due to looking ugly in the new gear and those grind just to not finishing masterwork gear ever new sesson with better gear where it isn't cap like the old.

1 답변I love being able to use my Frostmires Hex or Gnawing hunger in IB and NF ect, sure I can't put 2.0 mods on Frostmires, but I can compensate with the other slots. I use them because they aren't meta, they're both fun to use and most satisfying, especially in comp / IB when I'm killing meta running apes. The fact I've got over 10500 pvp kills, mostly via. IB and comp on frostmires is something I'm genuinely proud of ingame😁😂 The idea that in a few seasons I can't use them in IB, trials ect is idiotic because instead of helping build a variety of weapons players can choose, Bungie will actually be throttling the amount of viable weapons available, to the point running anything other than meta will be pointless.

I like being able to pull out my old guns and use them for various reasons. I switch all the time. If they are going to retire them, and have them capped then they shouldn’t have a problem letting you retrieve them from collections. Would help with the vault space at least.

Apparently it's the age old dispute between mmo players and non mmo players. I'm not an mmo player so I hate this change. Destiny straddles the line between genres and management consistently tries to push further into mmo but a significant portion of the player base has always shown to hate that push. There are better mindless grinds out there and better shooters so if they continually try to jump off the fine line they walk then they will continuously lose players. Becoming powerful is the goal and content needs to be designed around that bc if you take that progression away your only left with maybe half your player base that will tolerate a mindless grind. If this is bungies way of saying content scaling to our power is impossible while remaining profitable then that is their decision. If that is the case then my decision is to not support the game financially.

1 답변Bungie is mainly concerned about pinnacle weapons still being the only weapons we use over newer weapons my solution is turn all problem maker pinnacle weapons into exotics but buff them slightly to their previous prenerfed state

2 답변I honestly don't see the point in Bungie draining the loot pool -- all we are getting is mud :( There is also less incentive to farm because no gear retains any long term value. Other games like Star Trek Online, Diablo3, Warframe, Division2, etc. have no real issues with expanding loot pools and rising power-creep. Outliers are addressed if they cause balance issues, but this tends to be less frequent as games get older.

작성자: Lord_Shar 3/3/2020 11:43:18 PMThe best way to mitigate item infusion expiration is to skip all new or light enabled activities. This way your gear is always relevant since it will always have "enough light." :D Just say no to regurgitated content and step off the hamster wheel ;)

1 답변Really need a mixed feelings options. I don't mine in general but there's three points that I see a problem coming with the idea. 1. Inflow of new weapons to replace the ones getting shelved. It took from the launch of forsaken till season of dawn just to get two new legendary linear fusion rifles. Before that we just had one legendary void linear. We could run into a similar problem but just as not getting a new gun archetype in time with how the new weapons come out really. 2. Pinnacles are a problem and hot issue. I'm sure some people would be happy or fine to see them go after they got their fill with it or are tired of seeing it. On the other hand though the quest for probably a lot of people felt worse than any exotic quest to complete and way longer. Then to be told those are capped really makes you wonder why bother with the annoying quests for some of them. 3. Loot pools become an issue. Do you keep the old capped guns out there taking up space? If they do then it'd make farming the current useful world drops much harder as you'd have just as much of a chance to get a trash old capped weapon. Not to mention what about core activity rewards like gambit whose last inflow of weapons was season of the drifter. Outside of loving the activity you'd have no incentive to even bother playing it.

Not many players from D1 are left but this is something that happened when The Taken King dropped. The same reaction is happening now before this change has come to fruition. This change ultimately saved D1 and made D1 into a better overall experience and players always say D1 is better than D2. Way too much overreaction among players, who wants to use izanagis and sit in the way back of all boss arenas for the next 3 years? Not me, I welcome the change in hopes it can make the game experience better all around and hope it allows them to push out more frequent updates to the sandbox.

1 답변So the weapons I use like luna's howl, revoker, recluse, or any pinnacle type weapon or any other season pass weapons that I earned will be not be brought up to next level cap, or something.

I’m down for it in PvE. like to have new and fun stuff. but in pvp it’s tough to agree with because vendor refreshes literally don’t exist and the reason why say spare rations is one of the only seen hand cannons is because other good feeling hand cannons are few and far between. we need to have usable and enjoyable weapons for this to be possible. with the amount of weapons they do give us per season, it seems like a poor idea. far too dry. GIVE VENDOR REFRESHES!

I hate it. I use one toon, one armor and a set of weapons that I like, I like to keep it simple. I personally don't care about pinnacle weapons, ritual weapons or exotics -- I like to stick to the not so meta weapons. Plus, anything really good gets nerfed anyway so I don't waste my time. All this new system is going to is force players to grind new weapons, which is fine but not at my expense. If Bungie wants people to chase new things, make them interesting and people will want to chase them. I'm just tired of Bungie telling me how I should play this game.

1 답변Honestly, I'm kind of down for it. I mean it used to be that you would play the raid to get the new weapons and use them. That was fun and new and exciting. I miss the old days and I'd be fine if they test this new style out, it would give me a reason to keep playing and not worry too much about getting the best weapon and never playing again.
