I gotta say, I’m pleasantly surprised. This week’s TWAB was awesome.
- Artifact disabled for IB and Trials (not in the TWAB but announced tonight)
- Warlock base melee range buff to compensate for slower melee speed
- Carefully designed shoulder charge, weighted knife, and HHSN nerfs that seemingly will not neuter them
- Nova Warp buff
- Middle-tree striker, bottom tree tether, and bottom tree nova buff
- Bottom tree striker nerf
- Tripmine sticks returning (I personally was never a fan of this, but the majority of PvP players seemed to like it so they made the right move)
The only thing I’m slightly concerned about is the top tree stormcaller nerf because they didn’t explain what the nerf is.
Bungie, THIS is how you satisfy the PvP player base. LISTENING to PvP players’ feedback, not spending your time and resources implementing things to make PvP easier for people who don’t play it. Carefully tuning abilities so that they aren’t too easy to use, but retain their power and reward skill. Good Bungo.

18 답변Yup. Satisfy the part of the game that was never intended to be the focus in the first place. Oh with that said.. just a COMPLETE reskin of Trials too. Sweet! Another fantastic decision Bungo! ** plays his little violin as the ship starts to sink **

People are still upset about eventually not being able to use their weapons in high end gameplay. That’s what the majority of people play and this TWAB addresses none of it. But hey, what do I know. I’ve supported Bungie for 15 years, bought the original green Halo themed Xbox, have over 5200 hours in the destiny universe and am just playing out what I already paid for.

how can it be good? they are yet again retunning weapons and abilites back to what they were, only to be then pointed out to be broken on next dlc or sesson, and then the cycle goes and goes... they been doing this for years, aimlessly, at first made sense probably on d1, now its just a lazy way of them of shifting the game meta. as usual, bungie doesnt have a clue what to do with its game.

2 답변Not a word about addressing the broken SBMM. Not a word about fixing the scummy spawning algorithm that allows to parachute 3 enemies into a middle of a 1v1 fight, or drop people straight into a firing line. Bungie are inept, stop praising them for anything until they prove they can deliver.

1 답변100% agree, the last few balance changes have been excellent. Only thing lacking is a buff to nova bomb on both voidwalker trees but aside from that

작성자: StylishSphere51 2/29/2020 7:24:03 AMThey do everything to satisfy the PvP player base, its like watching the PvP fans and bungie 69 every single TWAB. They may as well make a straight fps and scrap the PvE, just make gun unlocks a thing like CoD, because its strikingly clear what they don’t give a shit about. It should have always been PvE>PvP. Gay and rètarded. Dead game.

7 답변Your opinion is right, from your point of view so congrats on the win! I just see the nerf train coming back to town for a game mode I don't even want to touch in the first place. I'm just hoping Bungie doesn't go overboard like the did in D1, but they've really never seemed to learn from the past. My gut is they're working on pushing this game back to D2 launch, well at least as close as they can get without making everyone mad by pulling random perks. Balance didn't kill Trials, they had the most balance ever at launch and it failed. It's the pyramid scorecard that makes the bottom half of the players feel like they have no chance. People quit when they have no chance. They quit, there's a new bottom half, then they quit. Cycle just keeps repeating until people probably would winning in the overall general population aren't anymore because it's literally down to the best of the best. They breathed some fresh life into Trials in D1 with bounties, gave the losers something to walk away with and keep playing. But even they don't work in the long term. Trials basically failed in D1 over time, it failed again in D2. Maybe three times a charm and Bungie will realize they're focusing on the wrong thing that's making it fail? And please, don't put your passion for the mode over what actually happened. 93% player dropoff, it wasn't a success. Maybe something else would be.
